SUMMER CLOSING NOTICE 2016 – 2017

Dear Parents,

According to the order of District Magistrate all schools in Patna have to declare summer vacation from
Thursday, 05-05-2016. Infant Jesus’ school will set on Summer Vacation from Friday, 06-05-2016. Students,
who were present in class on 05-05-2016, have been given the Holiday Home Work Booklet or / and Spelling
Lists (2 sheets) If due to any reason a child fails to collect it, / they can collect it from the school on Tuesday,
10-05-2016 between 8:00am 9:00am. The summer holidays have to be used wisely both for relaxation and at
the same time to ensure that children remain in touch with learning. Therefore, parents are advised to take their
ward/s out for excursion. Picnic or / and to visit their relatives. To insure that children do not get completely
detached from learning school has devised Holiday Home Work for all. The assignments are to be completed
on five days a week basis i.e., from Monday to Friday. This Holiday Home Work has to be worked out under
the guidance of parent/s tutor by the students themselves. The assignment should be done carefully and neatly.
Marks out of five will be added to the First Terminal Examination / FA2 - 2016-2017. Parents of students
of Class I to V who haven’t deposited the amount for Holiday Home Work/ Spelling lists yet, will come to the
school office with Rs. 140/-(for class I & II) and Rs. 40/- (Class III to V) on Tuesday, 10-05-2016 between
09:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.

The school reopens on Tuesday, 07-06-2016. Arrival to school at 06:25 a.m; lunch break 08:50 a.m. to 09:15
a.m. (Class I & II ); 09:20 a.m. to 09:45 a.m. (Class III to V); 09:50 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. (Class VI to VIII); and
dismissal will begin at 11:50 a.m.

If due to any reason your ward/s is / are unable to come to school on the re-opening day then, put up application
in two copies and make necessary arrangement to send your ward’s Holiday Home Work to the office. The
parents and students who are out of station and need extended leave can make an S.M.S. on Mobile No.
09334112643 before or on the reopening day Uninformed absence will lead to a fine of Rs. 50/- per day up to
four (4) days and Rs. 500/- if the absence is beyond four (4) days The name of students who will be absent
uninformed, for 15 days at a stretch will be struck out from the attendance register presuming that the child has
left the school and the seat can be allotted to a new student. In the S.M.S. mention student’s Name Class &
Section and Id. No. along with, up to when the leave is desired. It will be compulsory for students who seek
leave through SMS to come with an application in which the date of SMS has to be mentioned, along with entry
of the leave in the school dairy.

01. Holiday Home Work:-

It is being given for Class I & II in the form of a booklet. For class III and above the Holiday Home
Work has been given to students in their School Diary. If in any class or section the Holiday Home Work
could not be given due to sudden closure, it can be downloaded from the web site-
www.infantjesuspatna.in. The web site will be operational on and between Tuesday, 17-05-2016
and Monday, 23-05-2016. If due to any technical reason Holiday Home Work can not be downloaded
from the website then, contact Sir Arvind on Mobile No. 9525207122 or 098352 92955. The Holiday
Home Work for Class I &II has to be submitted to the Class-teacher on the re-opening day it self. Class
III to VIII will submit their Holiday Home Work according to the routine of the day.

02. Intra-School Maths Contest will be held on Wednesday, 29-06-2019.

03. Registration for Colouring Contest of S.X.C.E.A.A. for Class I & II and Card Making Contest for
Class III to IX will be held on Saturday, 09-07-2016. Contact the Activity teacher with Rs. 20/-.

04. Registration for Silver Zone Akhil Bhartiya Hindi Olympiad will be on Friday, 30-09-2016. Contact
the Activity teacher with Rs. 210/-.

05. Hindi Spelling & Vocabulary Contest :- For Class I to V there will be only spelling contest. Spellings
can be asked in any form. For class VI to VIII the contest will be both for Spelling and Vocabulary. This
contest will be held on Saturday, 02-07-2016.

06. Music Contest:- Students of Class I & II will be ready with Action Songs. Students of class III to V
will be ready with English Songs. Students of class VI to VIII will be ready with Non-Filmi Folk
Songs.

07. Dance Contest :- Students of class I to II will be ready with Bollywood Dance. Students of Class III to
V will be ready with Mythotogical(Vandana) Dance. Students of Class VI to VIII will be ready with
Contemporary Dance.

08. English and Hindi Elocution:- Students of class I to VIII who are interested in participating in any one
or both will get ready with a poetry or prose.

The time duration for all the contests, except Elocutions for class I & II will be 3 (Three) minutes.
For class I & II the time duration for elocutions will be 2 (Two) minutes. English & Hindi
Elocution, Dance & Music Contest will be held on Saturday, 23-07-2016. The date for selection
round will be announced in the assembly.

09. Text book, work books and copies have to be well maintained with proper cover and label. Ensure the all
the books and copies have name and class, section written at four different places on them. On the belt,
badge, Tiffin box, etc. name of the child and I.d. No. has to be written with permanent marker pen or
engraved.

10. School and Fees Office will remain closed in the Main Building from Friday, 13-05-2016 to Thursday,02-
06-2016.. Fees payment can be made when the office opens.
