1.0 INTRODUCTION

Ihya Ramadhan, the al-Quran Recitation Program (Khatam al-Quran) is a community

program organized by Dakwah Fakulti Kejuruteraan Kimia (FKK) in collaboration with the
Faculty of Chemical Engineering (FKK) students. The program will be held on 18 May 2019
(Week 12) in the month of Ramadhan and will be officialized by Pn. Amizon at Engine Square
UiTM Shah Alam. This program is open to all FKK students and involves selected asnaf students
from Sekolah Kebangsaan Padang Jawa.

The program consists of recitation of Surah Ad-Duha until Surah An-Naas led by selected
renowned Imams from FKK and will be attended by approximately 200 participants including 40
asnaf students from SK Padang Jawa. The main objective of this program is to celebrate
Ramadhan with an asnaf students. Next, this program is also held to encourage the recitation of
al-Quran among the community as well as to improve community relations.

As students of Faculty of Chemical Engineering from group EH2206G, we were given a task
to conduct an event in collaboration with Dakwah FKK. The sub-tasks were evenly distributed to
several groups which consist of five members. Each group was assigned with their scope of
work. Students of EH2206G who participated in the assigned task will be able to improve their
leadership skill by managing to be conducting the event successfully

2.0 OBJECTIVE
2.1 To encourage the recitation of al-Quran among the community.
2.2 To fill one’s Ramadan with spiritual activities apart from fasting.
2.3 To encourage greater understanding (by reciting al-Quran) of al-Quran among
Muslim participants.
2.4 To improve community relations.
3.0 SCOPE OF WORK
3.1 Program Committee Member
- Formulation of the program tentative
- Ensuring the event is run smoothly.

3.2 Technical Committee Member

- Prepare for cooking utilities.
- Ensuring the venue is neat and clean.
- Decoration of the venue
- Requesting equipment: Tents, mats, prayer mats, tables etc.

3.3 Invitation Committee Member

- Responsible to invite the VIP guest.
- Responsible for the performances.
- In charge to find additional funds from other societies/organizations.

3.4 Food Committee Member

- Manage to prepare foods and drinks.
- Make sure the food and drinks fully provided

3.5 Special Task Committee Member

- Aid other committees.
- Event runner.

8.0 CONCLUSION

As a conclusion, this event will help asnaf students to feel appreciated during Ramadhan as well
as to encourage the recitation of al-Quran among the community thus developing a good moral
character among the people. Support and cooperation from Hal Ehwal Pelajar (HEP) of Faculty
of Chemical Engineering means a lot for us in order to fulfilling our aims and vision. Thank you.
