From very old days, Christmas is well known all around the world for its special

features. It is usually held in the last month of year, when people prepare for new
year.
Christmas is an annual festival commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, observed
primarily on December 25th as a religious and cultural celebration among billions
of people around the world. It is the greatest festival of Christians which celebrated
with great enthusiasm. Nowadays, Christian minorities or foreign cultural
influences have led populations to observe the holiday. Countries such as Japan,
where Christmas is popular despite there being only a small number of Christians,
have adopted many of the secular aspects of Christmas, such as gift-giving,
decorations and party.

The traditional colors of Christmas decorations are red, green, and gold.
Green
Evergreen plants, have been used for thousands of years to decorate and brighten
up buildings during the long dark winter. They also reminded people that spring
would come and that winter wouldn't last forever!
Now the most common use of green at Christmas are Christmas Trees.

Red

Red is said to represent the blood of Jesus when he died on the cross.
Red is also would have been worn by Santa Clause

Gold is the color of the Sun and light - both very important in the dark winter. And
both red and gold are the colors of fire that you need to keep you warm.

Christmas tree plays an important role as everyone prepares and decorates it with
colorful electric lights, gift and little detail. Don’t forget bells, candles, stockings
and specially wreaths and angels. Both the displaying of wreaths and candles in
each window are more traditional Christmas display. The concentric assortment of
leaves, usually from an evergreen, make up Christmas wreaths and are designed to
prepare Christians for the Advent season. Candles in each window are meant to
demonstrate the fact that Christians believe that Jesus Christ is the ultimate light of
the world.

Especially the image that children most expect it is Santa Claus. He is generally
depicted as a portly, jolly, white-bearded man wearing a red suit with white fur
collar and cuffs, a red hat with white fur and black leather belt and boots and who
carries a bag full of gifts for children. Santa Claus is said to make lists of children
throughout the world, categorizing them according to their behavior ("good" and
"bad", or "naughty" and "nice") and to deliver presents, including toys, and candy
to all of the well-behaved children in the world on the single night of Christmas
Eve. He accomplishes this feat with the aid of his elves, who make the toys in his
workshop at the North Pole, and his flying reindeer, who pull his sleigh. He is
commonly portrayed as living at the North Pole, and often laughing in a way that
sounds like "ho ho ho".

I love Christmas for many reasons. First, it maintains cozy atmosphere and mutual
care and share between people. During the holiday, people gather together to
decorate house, prepare delicious meal, spend time doing good things and sing the
carol song. People share thought, feeling and opinion to each other. They also
behave well with others to show their kindness, love and care for both relative and
friends. Christmas gifts are presented to them on this occasion. During Christmas,
a lot of delicious dishes are made such as: fried chicken, bbq, sweet cake, pudding
and candy and so on. People enjoy making meal and clean their house and street in
the town so as to hope for good thing and best wish for everyone.

Although Christmas weather is cold, one feels cozy and not lonely when being
with their beloved.
