took the side of the white female, not the three minority females. Cmdr. Tennant Revied all material (Noise Complaint 16-P115637, Harassment 16-P11540, and 50+
minutes of Body Cam Footage) and came to the conclusion that Sgt. Dornes was professional, compassionate, and extremely patient in handling all parties invovled.

Chief,
I took a citizen complaint this morning involving Sgt. Dan Dornes. 1 - Right to Privacy (509 1 - Right to Pri... called because her friends were
contacted by Dornes twice this weekend regarding a noise complaint. She said her friends had questions for Dornes but he left saying he
had an accident to handle and their questions were left unanswered. She feels Dornes caters to white woman. The complainant on the
I mentioned that we could review the case and bodycam video and get back to her. She said he just needs to be talked to, not necessarily
disciplined…
The cases are 16-P11540 and 16-P11536. All video in evidence.com are ID tagged with those case numbers.

Date Unkown but near Nov. 21st: I spoke to Sgt. Dornes about this complaint, and he told me that on the original noise complaint he was
"short" with the three upstairs females because he was called away on an emergency call (veh. Vs Pedestrian MVA 16-P11539), but later
talked to everyone involved. He said that there was body camera video of the entire contact.
1-5-17: I reviewed the two patrol cases (Noise 16-P11539 and Civil/Harasmment 16-P11540) and the body cam video of both cases
recorded by Sgt. Dan Dornes on his contact with the parties. Basically, you have three (Minority) females living in an upstairs apartment,
and one "White" female living in a downstairs apartment. There is a noise issue, and communication issue between the two apartments
and Sgt. Dornes listened to both sides, informend them of the applicable ordinance, and gave them several options. I found his contact
with both sides to be professional, compassionate, and very patient!
