Unlike dry-steam and flash-steam plants, binary plants do not have steam conden-
sate to serve as makeup for a water cooling tower. Thus binary plants need a separate
cooling medium, either fresh water or air. An air-cooled condenser ACC is depicted
here since makeup water for cooling towers is scarce at many geothermal sites.
