Career Interest

I have yet to decide what career I want to have in the future. My job, whatever it may

be, must be socially involving rather than requiring me to sit behind a desk all day. One job that

interests me is a physical therapist. As a PT, you must know a lot about the human body and

how it works, which I find very fascinating. I have also thought about becoming an athletic

trainer. It would be really cool to work with and help athletes every day.

After taking the test, my top three categories were Social with 30 points, Artistic with 24

points, and Enterprising with 23 points. The three jobs I picked to learn more about were all in

the social category: Athletic Trainer, High School Teacher, and Physical Therapist. I picked

athletic trainer and physical therapist because I already have an interest in these professions.

Being a high school teacher would be fun, too. Teachers are responsible for the future. They not

only teach, but inspire youth to become something great. I have a lot of respect for my teachers

and what they do for their students.

The results I was given are very realistic for me because I can see myself doing any one

of those professions. I was not surprised that my top results were social and artistic, but I did

not expect enterprising to be that high on the list. The test confirmed that the careers I have

already been considering will correspond with my personality and interests.
