Grizzly Pride Project Proposal

For my Grizzly Pride Project, I am going to make care packages for the homeless people

living in down town, Salt Lake City. I am going to collect donations of supplies or money from

friends, family members, and neighbors. The packs will consist of water, non-perishable foods,

hygiene and toiletry items, and other supplies. I want to make at least twenty-five packs. Once

all the supplies are collected and put together, I will go down town to Pioneer Park to give them

out. There are many homeless people, especially down town, and I just want to make their day a

little better.

This project does not directly benefit Copper Hills High School, but I hope to involve some

other students that attend. By doing this, I can be a good example for my fellow classmates and

hopefully inspire them to serve more. If I have any extra supplies that I do not use, I would like

to donate them to the Copper Hills pantry for students in need at our school.

I want to start collecting donations in a few weeks so I can get started on this project.

Once I finish collecting donations, I will figure out what I have and see what else I need. If some

people choose to donate money, I will go to the store and use that money to get something we

need more of. Once I have all the supplies collected and sorted, I will start to put an equal amount

of supplies in Ziploc bags. I will wait to deliver the care packs until there is decent weather.
