The Effects of Social Media to Learners, Community, and

Oneself

Imagine a world without

internet and probably you will end up
thinking about the the lives on past where
internet , and advanced technology
doesn't exist. You're lucky because you
belong to the society today where we live
our life to the fullest with the help of
advanced and helpful technology. Because
of technology, our communication has
improve greatly and efficiently, you can
now connect and chat your family, friends,
and relatives through social media. But how these social medias affect ourselves,
our community, and the learners?

Learning is important in every

aspect of our life and students' objective is
to learn varieties of knowledges and
wisdom. So what are the benefits of social
medias to the learning process of every
student? The use of social medias is a great
advantage for students in a way that they
are using it on their studies. For example,
you forgot the assignments that your teacher told yesterday but you know that
some of your classmates copied it and now for you to make your assignment you
contact your friend via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or WhatsApp and you
already got a reply. Through this example you will notice how social media is
advantageous to students/learners. Many learners today rely on social media and
it affects their personalities and behaviors on their studies.
 The community where I belong also
you used social media and it really affects how
our community develops friendship through
socialization online. They are different groups
and pages found on Facebook where in we
share and bond interests too each other in a
specific topic. For example, a page where
gamers, K-Pop lovers, dance group, singing
group and also a group where people are
willing to help some of the problems found on
our community. It is a great advantage for the community because you will learn
something from other people and you will also share what you've known. You will
also meet strangers and became your friends. Social media is simply a way to
connect you on your community the contribute something and to help in
resolving social problems.

There are many uses of social

media and for me I think social
media sites as a tool for my
personal, moral, behavioral, and
mental development. because of
social media I gained knowledge
and information plus the
entertainment I loved the most. But
I noticed that reading or watching
what is inside this social medias has
greatly effects my moral behaviors, I learned to say bad words, I easily judge other
people, and the worst thing I did is I use social media to destroy someone. There
are uses of social media and I admit that sometimes I use it in a wrong way but I
realized that all we do in social media is a part whether bad or good. Because the
experience I did,I found my limit and realized the real purpose of this inventions.

We are lucky today because we are leaving in a society where communication

is efficient through social medias. It effects our learning process, how we adopted
our community and of course ourselves.
