INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES

1. You have to appear in the written test at the above-mentioned date/time/venue at your own cost. No Travelling Allowance will be paid by the Company.

2. Admission to the Test Center will be on production of this Admit Card only. This Admit Card shall be valid only at the venue specified therein. Candidates shall
not be allowed to attend the test at any other venue.

3. Please bring one photo identity proof in original (Aadhar Card/Driving License/Voter ID card/Passport etc.) for verification purpose.

4. Candidates will need to ensure that they reach the test venue as per the reporting time specified in the Admit Card. Late comers will not be permitted to appear
in the test.

5. This Admit Card should be brought to the examination centre and handed over to the invigilator. Please ensure that your admit card is signed by the room
invigilator in the space provided above.

6. Candidates should carry their own blue/black ballpoint pen. Candidates shall not be allowed to share or borrow stationery items from other candidates.

7. All other items such as Calculators, Electronic Diary, Cell Phone, Writing Pads, Pencil Boxes, Beepers, Camera, Electronic watches and Scanner etc will not be
allowed into the Examination Hall. Candidates will have to leave the same, at their own risk, outside the examination hall. Any candidate found in possession of
such unauthorized material or found indulging in copying or adopting unfair means will be summarily disqualified.

8. Candidates shall not be allowed to leave the Examination Hall, for any reason, once the question papers have been distributed till the end of the test.

9. The mere fact that a certificate of admission to the Examination has been issued to a candidate will not imply that his/her candidature has been finally cleared,
or that the entries made by the candidate in his/her application for the Examination have been accepted by SAIL, RSP as true and correct. Candidates may note
that verification of eligibility conditions of a candidate, with reference to original documents, will be taken up only after the candidate has qualified for skill test /
trade test based on the result of the written test.

10. Only those candidates who fulfill all the eligibility criteria should appear in the test. If at any stage it is found that the candidate is not eligible for the post,
his/her candidature will be summarily rejected.

11. Candidates short-listed on the basis of written test will be intimated to appear for skill test/trade test in due course.

12. The result for the written test will be published on the company’s website www.sail.co.in at the link “Careers”.

13. Answer sheet and the admit card should be handed over to the invigilator after the test.

14. Visually impaired candidates and physically challenged candidates, whose writing speed is affected by cerebral palsy under PWD category, can take help of a
scribe during the test as per Govt. Rules. Such candidates are required to submit an affidavit in the prescribed proforma at the time of the written test.

15. SAIL, RSP reserves the right to postpone/cancel the Written Test or alter the date/time/Venue of the Written Test at its discretion.

EXAMINATION DETAILS

1. Written test will consist of 100 Objective type questions in 2 segments; Technical Knowledge test for 80 marks and General aptitude test for 20 marks. The Test
will be of two hours and each question will carry one mark. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers. No mark will be awarded for not attempting a
question.

2. The question paper will be objective type in English and Hindi language.

3. Answers have to be provided in the OMR Answer Sheet which will be provided at test venue.
