are integral to the
sustainability and growth of
the creative economy.
¿What are ‘creating hubs’?
According to British Council
(2014) “a hub is a physical or
virtual place that
brings enterprising people
together who work in the
creative and cultural
industries”.
Every creative hub is ‘tailor-
made’ in they way that it has a
unique model determined by
their cultural context,
community requirements and
funding scheme.
There is no strict code of
creating a hub, we could talk
about a building were
practitioners get together and
businesses or temporary labs
and incubation spaces that
trigger innovation, along with
online networks that gather
people through events.

Startups4all
Their story is based on the
creation of a hub with the
objective of guiding and
encourage entrepreneurs to
develop their business ideas
effectively through training and
mentoring designed according to an implementation
methodology based in their previous knowledge and
experience.
Due to the fact that in Mexico 75% of the start ups fail
after two years of operation, either by weak finances, lack
of objectives or poor planning and the high costs of the
consultancy which make the entrepreneur give up
(Startups4all, 2018).
This is the principal reason why Startups4all is a space
for entrepreneurs to make their ideas evolve into real
businesses in a short period of time, under the models of
Company Builder and Design Thinking.

The hub brings the space where everyone is invited to
share ideas, knowledge and opinions, and where
entrepreneurs can participate collaboratively on
developing their own idea or someone else’s
