WORK HISTORY
North Elementary School
Instructional Technology Coach // Lancaster, SC // August 2016 to May 2018

I was responsible for Chromebooks and technology needs for grades 3-5. I also held professional
development for teachers in the area of technology integration in the general education classroom.
During my two years at North Elementary, I was able to work with students and teachers to help
implement technology-based standards and good digital citizenship among the student body in
grades 3-5. I also helped to establish the Hour of Code held the first week of December in which
students learned about the science of coding and how it impacts our everyday lives.
McDonald Green Elementary School
Special Education Instructional Assistant // Lancaster, SC // August 2014 to May 2016

I was responsible for the daily academic instruction of special education students in grades 4-5. I
was their primary teacher and taught them reading and math, while accompanying them to their
inclusion classes for Science and Social Studies. I worked in conjunction with the special education
teacher of grade 1-3 to plan lessons, field trips, and other extra-curricular events for the students.

Westminster Catawba Christian School

Elementary Classroom Teacher Grades 2/3 // Rock Hill, SC // August 2007 to May 2012
I spent 5 years at WCCS as a 2nd and 3rd grade teacher. I was the full-time classroom teacher and
my responsibilities included lesson planning, instruction, and all events involving the students. I had
the privilege of looping with my students when I transitioned from 2nd to 3rd grade and was the lead
third grade teacher for the 2010 and 2011 school years. I enjoyed my time at WCCS and only left
my position due to a diagnosis of breast cancer.
