NUM will supervise the PN about drug injection intravenous. Three days
earlier, it was announced that supervision would be held in the room. In the
morning NUM is already in the room and ready to supervise.
NUM : “Good morning Nurse Lusdi.”
PN : “Good morning Nurse Ani.”
NUM : “As I told you three days ago, that supervision will be given to you as
the primary nurse about intravenous injection drug this morning. How
ready is it? Who is the patient managed by Nurse Lusdi that will get
intravenous injection therapy?”
PN : “Mrs. M, with a diagnosis of ALI (Acute Limb Ischemic). The injection
to be administered is ranitidine 50 mg intravenously.”
(while showing MR and MC)
NUM : “Nurse Lusdi, do you know the purpose of supervision this morning?”
PN : “I think,supervision is performed to see the performance of primary
nurses in meeting patient needs.”

PN prepares medications and equipment for intravenous drug injection.
On the Nurse station…
AN : “Nurse Lusdi, the instruments of injection drug has been prepared”
PN : “Okay Nurse Elfira, let me check first”
(PN recheck the instruments)
PN : “Good, everything has been completed, Thank you nurse Elfira”
AN : “With my pleasure nurse”
(At the room of the NUM)
PN : “Nurse, I have prepared the required tools for the administration of an
injection drug.”
NUM : “Okay, I'll check first. Okay, everything is complete, now please you go
to the patient to give intravenous injection medication.”
PN : “Okay,Nurse”
NUM and PN to the patient to administer intravenous injection
drugs. After administration of the injection drug, NUM evaluates to the
PN the administration of the injectable medication.
NUM : “Nurse Citra please wait a minutes, I will recap all the results of the
assessment, then I will call you”
PN : “Yes nurse”

nervous.”
NUM : “Okay I will do the evaluation. This is the score of supervision

administration is to forget to ask how the patient feels after the
