My name is Nancy Dwi Puspita, people call me simply by “Nancy”. This year I’m 20 years
old. This is my third year as a medical student in Hasanuddin University. As a medical student,
I’m very diligent and hard working woman. A lot of my friends considered me as a fast learner
and an easy going person. In my view of myself, I always like to try a new things, and I always
do my best in everything. I also have a strong communication skill so i have no problem working
in team.
In addition, the students are also a generation of leaders of the nation in the future. To
be a leader is not only good in academics but it should be good in soft skill. To get soft skill can
not get on lecture bench, but soft skill ability can be obtained through organization and some
activities outside the lecture, such as leadership training, workshop, and seminar. In training
soft skill skills, I have participated in several activities and committees, such as being general
secretary of my inauguration event and awareness night of medical student in Hasanuddin
University 2018, becoming division of public relation during Bakti Sosial Nasional HMI
Komisariat Kedokteran, being the event organizer when Intermediate Student Leadership
Training BEM KEMA FK UNHAS, etc. In organizing we are taught how to coordinate well, trust
each other, and we are also taught how to be a good leader. But that's not enough, I want to
dig more of my leadership through the Pre- APRM 2018 in Korea. Besides being a good doctor
in the future, I want to prepare myself well by adding my insights on NMO Management and
Leadership Workshop.
I promise to be actively participating in every part of the Pre-APRM Korea 2018 even if I
am chosen to be delegate. I surely will be an active learner in this workshop. I believe, I will be a
lot of help and this workshop program will definitely broaden my knowledge and also will
improve myself to be a professional doctor. Moreover, I am a type of person who communicate
easily and I have the ability to transfer my knowledge to others. I always think that it is a good
thing to share what we know with other people not only for an additional knowledge for them,
but also to enrich ourself. After I follow this Pre-APRM Korea 2018, I will return to Indonesia
and hopefully be able to bring change and improvement for Indonesian healthcare expecially
for medical education field based from the knowledge and valuable experience I learned from
this workshop.
