SUMMARY
I am a Veterinarian getting to specialize in toxicology with one year research experience. My research
interest focused on genotoxicology. Having a well written and oral communication skills through scientific
manuscript, platform and poster presentations, enthusiastic and hardworking with ability to work under pressure
with little or no supervision and proficient in basic use of computer and internet. I am interested to join the team
of world experts in toxicology, this will give me a great advantage of gaining huge knowledge and skills sharing
by specialists. Also to equip me to become an independent researcher and to become expert at my area of
specialty.

 Researched on assessment of bacteriological quality of locally fermented Cow milk (Nono) in Maiduguri,
northeastern Nigeria.
 Studied and identified the common pathogenic bacteria that frequently contaminate locally processed milk.
 Conducted biochemical test in identifying the species of bacteria present.
 Conducted antibiotic sensitivity testing of the isolated bacteria to some classes of antibiotic.
SKILLS

 In Vitro: Genotoxicity assays- AMES, COMET assay and in vitro cytotoxicity assay, in vitro micronucleus
assay; animal cell culture preparation; isolated tissue preparation and bioassay of chemical substance;
antibiotic sensitivity testing.
 In Vivo: Experimental design and conduct: in vivo micronucleus assay; Studied the effect of clove oil
and Isoflorane anesthetic combination effect for induction and maintenance of anesthesia using zebra
fish model; learned how to restrain, give dose of drug and to collect blood sample in laboratory animals

(rat and mice).
 Molecular Biology techniques: RNA/DNA/protein isolation, cDNA synthesis, qRT-PCR, Southern
blotting, Western blotting, plasmid transfection, and Agarose gel Electrophoresis.
