The department of business and hospitality management shall offer programs that

INTRODUCTION

On the job training is being execute for the partial fulfillment of a certain
degree that required a specific hours. It promotes objectives in enhancing
students knowledge and skills acquired in the classroom and apply the theories,
principles in order to become more responsive to the demands of his/her own
profession. It is a great opportunity to be exposed on the working environment
where the trainee learns different work situation that will mold them into a
mature individuals and teach new techniques through hands-on experience that
will become part of his job in the future. Developing the value of professionalism,
love of work and commitment to people they serve . since they are working with
different kinds of professional , they have to observe a proper attitude and show
respect to each superior . the on the job training allows the trainee to apply the
relevant theories of the profession and code of ethics into practice.

The students should realize the importance of on-the-job-training on their


future career. To become familiar with the operations of a workplace by observing
procedures, participating in meetings, decision making and by hands on
experience that will help us someday in workplace, also to gain experience and to
understand the problems and issues relating in work . The OJT background is
important when applying for job because the employer may ask the relevance of
the training to the course. An excellent job performance is a must because of the
tight competition of the job seekers . through performing well , the company
might hire the potential trainee after graduation. So if the students is very
fortunate enough to be part of the company he/she wants to work with in the
future, then it will give her/him the opportunity to let the company see his/her
abilities that will become the best asset of the company.
