1. Configuring Apple iOS Devices (iPhone/iPad) for SWA Email

Although there may be some slight cosmetic differences, the following instructions should allow you to set up your
SWA email account on any current iOS device.

1. On your device, go to Settings > Mail, Contacts and Calendars > Add Account > Microsoft Exchange.

2. On the Exchange account information screen, provide the information listed below, and then tap Next.
• Email – Enter your SWA email address (Firstname.Lastname@wnco.com).
• Domain - The domain is LUV.
• Username – Enter your SWA ID, including the e or x.
• Password – Enter your current SWALife password.
• Description – Enter a name for your email account on this device. This can be whatever you want.

3. The device will now try to locate the Exchange server, but will likely be unable to do so. When the account
information screen reappears, all of the previously entered information will still be there, but there will now be
an extra blank that says Server. Enter www4.swalife.com for the server and tap Next.

4. On the next screen, you will have three sliders, one each for Mail, Contacts and Calendars. It is strongly
advised that you switch off Contacts, unless you want all of the contacts on your device replaced by your SWA
Contacts. Mail should be left on, and Calendar is optional. When you are finished, tap Save.

2. Configuring Android Devices for SWA Email

Please note that there are many different types of Android mobile devices available, and that the screens and options
shown can vary somewhat between different models and versions.

1. On your Android device, select the Email icon. This icon may be located on the home screen, or you can
select the Apps icon, and then find it in the list of Applications. It is also possible, on some devices, to access
the email settings by going to Apps > Settings.

2. When you have located and opened the Email application, enter your SWA email address and your SWALife
password. Select Next to continue.

3. When prompted to select the type of account, select Microsoft Exchange Activesync.

4. On the Exchange server settings screen, provide the information listed below, and then click Next.
• SWA email address - This should be filled in already.
• Domain and username - The domain is luv and your username is your SWA ID, including the e or x.
(NOTE: Some devices will ask for domain and username separately, and some will ask for them
together (as seen in the picture below) separated by a \.

5. After the phone spends time syncing with the server, you will get the Account options screen. You can set
your email and calendar sync options here. The settings you choose here are up to you, but the more often
you sync, the more it will drain the battery of your mobile device. (NOTE: The “Push” option means that
emails and calendar items will come in as they are added.) Click Next when you are finished.

6. Enter a name for your email account on your device. (This is optional.) Select Done when finished.
