1. SITE ADDRESS

1 Pinfold Lane

2. LOCATION OF WORKS
Rear of number 1 Pinfold Lane
Location is within an agricultural field that is accessed from a double gateway off
Pinfold Lane and the rear garden of 1 Pinfold Lane.

3. SCOPE OF WORKS

To replace the existing sewage treatment plant with a Klargester biodsic unit. Sewage
treament plant to be relocated within the designated area within the field and rear garden of 1
Pinfold Lane. New soakaway to be installed in the field area. All work to be undertaken to Part
H of the building regulations and recommendations by the equipment suppliers.

4. CONTROL OF FLOWS

The foul water system shall be in use for the duration of the works. The existing septic tank
shall act as a storage vessel with frequent emptying by suction road tanker. Once the new
system is installed the foul sewer shall be connected to the new treatment process and the
original septic tank back filled.
5. SITE SPECIFIC INFORMATION
The site is at the rear of several residential properties. Great care shall be exercised to ensure
the construction works have little impact on the residents in terms of dust, noise etc. The
works does not require any demolition or concrete breaking so dust is not considered to be a
possible issue. The excavation works will be in moist soil conditions so we do not foresee an
issue with air contaminates. Our main concern is the use of machinery so modern excavators
and machinery shall be utilised and where possible to be turned off when not in use.

6. ACCESS & SITE CONDITION

The site is located off a small rural road. Any deliveries shall be received between the hours
of 09.30am and 15.00 hrs pm to minimise traffic disruption to commuters and school traffic.
Whilst unloading a banksman shall be present to inform any effected vehicles of the time
duration of the inconvenience. No HGV traffic to drive into the field area, all deliveries to be
placed through the gate. Should any machinery leave the site then the road surface shall be
cleaned. The site shall be staffed by two persons sharing one van. This vehicle to be parked
in the layby at the front of the properties to minimise vehicle traffic on and off the site. .

7. TRAINING AND SUPERVISION

The activity will be carried by a two members of Wildon Uk with a daily attendance by a senior
member of staff to inspect quality, safety and progress

17. MONITORING

Note: It is important that all method statements are followed explicitly. Unauthorised
variations are not permitted. Method statements are reviewed regularly by the
Wildon UK LTD Health & Safety Officer

18. EMERGENCY PROCEDURES APPLICABLE TO WORKS

Fire Only persons trained in fire response to attempt to fight fires.

Should any environmental issues arise during works then this should be
reported to your supervisor, the client and where necessary the
Environment Agency.

Site is not a SSSI so although no incidents are anticipated we need to
have the ability to control some situations should they arise – e.g. spill
kits to be at hand should, eg a fuel, hydraulic, sludge leak occur. On-
