I. Learning Objectives
At the end of the lesson, 75% of the students should be able to:
A. Concept
Meal – is any of the regular occasions in a day when a reasonably large amount of food is eaten, such as breakfast, lunch, or
dinner.
Go Foods – also known as ‘energy-giving foods’, are the type of food which are rich in carbohydrates and fats that provide the
body with heat and energy.
Grow Foods – also known as ‘body-building foods’, are the type of food which are rich in protein that helps the body to grow
bigger and stronger.
Glow Foods – also known as ‘body-regulating foods’, are the type of food which are rich in vitamins and minerals that keeps
our skin, hair and eyes bright and glowing.

“Okay thank you for your answer. Another one?” Student 3: “I like chicken because it is delicious.”
“Thank you.”
“Most of us have our own food that we like and also the food that Student 4: “Teacher, I don’t like the bitter gourd because it is so

(The class finished watching the video.) Student 6: “Teacher, the video is all about the Go, Grow and

of the plate have grains or Go foods and a quarter or ¼ of the
plate has protein or Grow foods. You should also drink milk or
have other dairy products like cheese and butter in every meal.”

start planning your every meal like this to obtain all of the
