SUBJECT : Spot Report re – Stabbing Incident

DATE : September 18, 2018

1. Reference: Standard Operating Procedure.

2. In reference above, please be informed that at about 3:30 AM of September

18, 2018 the person of PO1 Joniemar Alabata Lumpas a member of the PNP currently
assigned at DoCPMFC Sta. Maria, Davao Occidental endorsed to this station the person
identified as Jovan Kenth Antoque, 20 years old, single and a resident of Curvada
Poblacion Uno Bansalan, Davao del Sur after the said person (Jovan) was caught in the
act by PO1 Lumpas carrying Two (2) kitchen knives tucked on his waist at the minute
burger located at Ramon Delos Cientos St. Poblacion Dos this municipality.

3. Initial investigation conducted and revealed that while PO1 Lumpas was
waiting for his ordered burger at the said establishment he saw Jovan Antoque together
with his companion later identified as;

2. Leandro N Caballero
3. Jonathan Monicar
4. Harold James Apsay
5. Aljo Paira
6. Syril Villanueva

Said companions were observed to be under the influence of liquor mocking a gay
customer and carrying Two (2) kitchen knives tucked on his (Antoque) waist. Prompting
PO1 Lumpas to apprehend Jovan, that upon apprehension one of Jovan’s companion
helped and stabbed PO1 Lumpas fortunately the police officer was able to evade the
attacked but it was Jovan who was hit on his stomach.

4. The male companions of Jovan immediately fled towards unknown direction

after the incident while Jovan Antoque was brought to Viacrucis Hospital and was later
referred to Provincial Hospital Digos City, Davao del Sur and then to Southern Philippine
Medical Center (SPMC) Davao City due to Doctor’s unavailability of the aforesaid
hospitals.
