WARNING! • To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose the product to rain or moisture.

Power Supply
• This dome camera can operate on DC12V only.
• Connect only one camera to the power line, DC12V. Do not share the power line with
other equipment. The power cable between power source and the camera must be less
than 3 m.
• Please use AC Adapter complying with the safety standard.

Caution! • The use of CSA certified/UL Listed Class 2 power adapters are required to ensure
compliance.
Connectors and field wiring terminals for external Class 2 circuits provided with marking
indicating minimum Class of wiring to be used. Class 2 shall be marked adjacent to the
field wiring terminals.
This product is intended to be supplied by a Listed Direct Plug-In Power Unit marked
"Class 2" or Listed Adapter marked "L.P.S." (or "Limited Power Source") and rated output
DC 12V, 250mA minimum (for USA).

Operating Notes

Operating Conditions
 Avoid viewing very bright objects (example, light fixtures, sunlight) for extended periods.
 Avoid operating or storing the unit in the following locations:
 Extremely humid, dusty, hot/cold environments where the operating temperature is outside the
recommended range of 14°F to 122°F (-10°C to +50°C)
 Installation in a place exposed to direct sunlight
 Close to sources of powerful radio or TV transmitters
 Close to fluorescent lamps or objects reflecting light
 Under unstable light sources (may cause flickering)
 In a place with vapor or oil, for example in a kitchen.
 In a place at which corrosive gases are emitted.
 Near a source of radiation, X-rays, strong radio waves or magnetism.
 In a place, such as vehicle installation, which is subject to vibration.
 In a place with excessive dirt.
 Do not install in an environment where there is cold air or near the air outlet of an air conditioner.
The front cover may become foggy as a result of sudden temperature changes.
 Under light source containing much infrared rays like a Filament lamp or halogen light, color may look
faded.
 Due to side effect of AES, there may be a case that LED traffic signal or LED electric sign become
difficult to see.
 Due to limitation of AES and the maximum shutter speed (1/28000), there may be a case over exposure
occurs on bright objects.

Handing Precautions
 Do not suspend yourself from this camera, shake it or hang objects over it.
 Applying excessive load may cause the camera to fall off and cause an accident.

Copyright Protection
 With the exception of the user being the copyright holder or when permission such as for duplication has
been granted by the copyright holder, permission is required in principle for the duplication, modification,
or transmission of copyrighted material.
 Unauthorized duplication, modification, or transmission of copyrighted material may constitute a
copyright infringement, and the user may be liable to compensate for any damages. When using
copyrighted material, be sure to check the license agreement of the copyrighted material thoroughly.
 When rights or rights holders are involved with regard to the targeted duplicating subject, permission
may be required for shooting or using (processing) it. Be sure to check the licensing conditions
thoroughly.

Saving Energy

1. Product Overview

1.1 Before You Begin

Please read this Instructions carefully before you install the camera. Keep this user manual for future
reference.

1.2 Unpack everything


Check that the items received match those listed on the order form and packing slip. The IR bullet series
packing box includes:

 IR BULLET CAMERA
 INSTRUCTIONS
 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
 WARRANTY CARD (Only for TK-T8100WPRU)
 TEMPLATE
 SCREW (x3) and SCREW ANCHOR (x3)

If any parts are missing or damaged, contact the dealer you purchased the camera from.

1.4 Routine Maintenance

Please use a soft and dry cloth to remove any fingerprint or dust to clean the housing. For more stubborn
stains, use a cloth dampened with a small quantity of neutral detergent to wipe dry.

Caution Do not use volatile solvents such as alcohol, benzene or thinners to avoid damaging the
surface finish.

2. Installation and Connection


2.1 Connecting the Wiring

Connect the camera power/video cable and external power/video cable together.

2.2 Mounting the Camera

1. Affix the mounting template to desired location. Drill three holes on the installation surface and insert
provided anchors into the pre-drilled holes.
2. Install a rubber pad and the bracket base onto the installation surface and fasten securely using the
provide screws.

Note Use screw (TP4-25L) and plastic anchors (1/4” x 1 3/8”) are provided for this purpose.

• For static electricity protection, ensure that the rubber pad is placed inside the mounting
bracket base.
Caution
• For DC power supply use, make sure the polarity is correct to avoid malfunction and / or
camera damage.

2.3 Adjusting the Camera Position

1. Loosen the adjustment screws and rotate the adjustment ring. Adjust the angle for optimum image
view.
2. After the adjustment, re-tighten the adjustment ring and fasten the adjustment screws.
3. To prevent the camera falling off, suggest tightening a safety wire to a firm place (ceiling slab or
wall). Please screwed the safety wire onto the camera. Safety wire is not supplied.
