2 The Minimum Longitudnal Slope of the drain shall be : 1 in 120
The Minimum Longitudnal Slope of the pipe culvert shall be : 1 in 120
Free Board in drain shall be : 150mm
The minimum and maximum velocity of fllow in drain shall be maintained as follows to ensure
3 proper flow :
Minimum 0.45 m/sec (Assumed)
Maximum 2.70 m/sec (Assumed)
The minimum and maximum velocity of fllow in pipe culverts shall be maintained as follows to
4 ensure proper flow :
Minimum 0.75 m/s (Assumed)
Maximum 2.7m/s (Assumed)
The pipe for road crossings shall be designed for flow in half filled conduit with minimum dia
5 300mm.
