AN ACCIDENT

It was a very cold morning as it had been raining like cats and dogs the previous night.
As my mum was feeling a little under the weather, I decided to walked to school by myself
on that day. A bolt out of the blue, when I was about to reached the school, I heard a
screeching noise from a car and some screaming by the pedestrian.

I quickly turned around to see what had happened. I saw a boy was lying down in the
middle of the road with his bicycle. He was badly hurt. The floor and his school uniform was
all covered with his blood. He was bleeding profusely. There was a white Honda stopped in
front of the little boy. The driver of the car quickly came down from the car. Luckily, the car
driver did not hurt much. He just had some injuries on his hand.

I felt so frighten and anxious at the time. I wanted to call the ambulance but then I
realized that my phone was not with me. There was no any telephone booth around either.
Luckily, a passer-by that had saw the situation quickly used her mobile phone to call for an
ambulance.

There were a few students that had seen this situation quickly ran into the school to
inform the teacher. After a moment, a male teacher rushed out from the school and called to
the police without wasting any second. Soon, the ambulance had arrived and the badly
injured boy was taken away to the hospital. The police arrived too at the same time. They
questioned the driver and some witnesses so as me.

After that, I quickly ran into the school because I realized that my class was going to
start soon. I was already late. There was a way to prevent road accidents happened especially
in school area which is by having road bumps. There should also be a lollipop man to help
the pupils cross the road. Students should also be taught how to cross the road carefully. As
we know "prevention is better than cure".
A VISITING TO THE ORPHANAGE

Last Saturday, the Interact Club had organised a visit to the orphanage which named
"Rumah Bahagia Orphanage "that was located in Kuala Lumpur. The trip was comprised of
thirty members and accompanied by three teachers. We boarded a huge bus from our school
to the destination and arrived at about 10.00 a.m in the morning.

Our arrival were greeted by all of the little cute children and some of the volunteers.
They looked so happy when they saw us. They cheered happily and welcomed us with
opened arms. All of us were surprised with their respond.

The event was started off with a short opening speech by the president of Interact Club
followed by a welcomed speech by the head of Rumah Bahagia Orphanage. Then, we also
gave out the scrumptious apple pie that we had made in school to the children. They looked
so ecstatic and were in a high glee.

After that, we played games with the little children there such as tug-of-war, gunny sack
race and bobbing for apples race at the courtyard of the house. We had a lot of fun and the
children enjoyed themselves very well. They seemed to have a nice time with us. Lastly, we
also gave presents that we had brought to all the children included the volunteers there.

Soon, it was time to leave. Everyone had a great time and this event was a success.
Before we went back to school, we gave each of the little cute children a bear hug. We hope
to visit another home again in the next summer holidays.

AN UNLUCKY DAY

It was a bright Saturday morning. The sun was not too fierce and there was a gentle
breeze. It did not seem as though it was going to rain, either. In short, it appeared to be the
right day for an outing. So, I decided to hangout with my buddies at the park that near to my
house. We were going to have a cycling competition.

On my way to the park, I would pass by a quiet road. The road was very dirty and
smelly. Stray dogs and cats can be seen looking for food around the rubbish bin. There were a
lot of flies flying around them. It was so disgusting. I quickly cycled through the dirty lane.

A bolt out of the blue, my bicycle tripped over a small stone. I fell down and hurt my
knee. It was so painful. The wound on my knee started bleeding. I try to take my phone
which was in my bag to call for help, but my bag was bitten away by the group stray dogs.

I panicked and did not know what to do next. I started shout as loud as I could. Luckily,
my mum who was going to fetch my brother back from tuition heard my cried. She quickly
came towards me and took me to the nearby clinic to get some treatments.

The doctor said that I need to rest at least a week. I cannot do any extreme activities. I
felt so sad. Then I quickly used my mum phone to inform my buddies about this incident.
Surprisingly, they had started their race and had a lot of fun. What an unlucky day for me!
WITNESSED A SNATCH THIEF

It was a hot sweltering Saturday afternoon. A scorching sun hang high above in the
cloudless sky. I was hot and perspiring profusely by the time I reached the bus stop in front
of a garden.

A bolt out of the blue, I heard a lady's screaming. I looked around and saw a
motorcyclist was pulling the lady's handbag. She screamed when the motorcyclist who sit
behind tried to grabbed her handbag. She tried to saved her handbag but the motorcyclist kept
pulling and dragged her along. I was shocked and frighten at the moment. I panicked. I did
not know what to do next.

At last, the lady let go her handbag as she had been exhausted. Luckily, there were two
security guards that was patrolling around the area past by the bus stop saw that situation and
tried to helped the lady by chasing after the motorcycle. The pedestrian that saw the situation
quickly took out his phone and informed the police about this incident.

Unfortunately, the motorcycle hit a stone and both the motorcyclists fell down from the
motorcycle. The guards quickly caught both of them to prevent them from escaped. After a
few moment, the police had arrived. They quickly caught both of the motorcyclist back to the
police station for investigate.

Luckily, the lady was uninjured and she felt relieved at last. The policemen then
returned her handbag to her. She thanked everyone that had helped her. Soon, my bus had
arrived and I quickly queue up to board the bus. The moral of the story is we must always be
helpful and work together when we met the case such as this.

AN VISIT TO THE OLD FOLKS HOME

Last weekend, our school English Society had organised a trip to visit the old folks
home which was located in Taman Bahagia. The trip was comprised of twenty members and
accompanied by two teachers. We boarded the bus from school at nine in the morning and
arrive the old folks home at ten.

When we arrived at the old folks home, all the senior citizens came out to welcome
us. They cheered happily and welcomed us with opened arms. All of us were surprised with
their respond and we gave everyone a food hamper that we brought along.

First, we were divided into two groups. One group was consist of ten people. The first
group was given the task to clean up the compound of the old folks home. They swept the
garden, gathered the dead leaf and clean the blocked drains. While the other group which was
my group were responsible to clean up the hall and kitchen. We shared out the work and
helped each other in order to complete our jobs as quickly as possible.

Then, we had lunch with the old folks. The foods that cooked by our two teachers
were mouthwatering. They were so delicious. After lunch, we had some performances to
entertain the senior citizens. We sang some evergreen songs to them and told them some
interesting stories. They were so happy and clapped enthusiastically / cheerfully. They really
enjoyed the shows that performed by us.
Soon, it was time to leave. We all said goodbye to the old folks, They seem so sad that
we were going back so soon. Before leaving, we promised them that we will pay them
another visit soon. It was a memorable and ecstatic trip.

A MISCHIEF BOY

Kelvin is my neighbour. He is a mischief and naughty boy. He is always a troublemaker

who likes to create many problems and trouble. His mother had always advised him but the
advice fallen on deaf ear.

Its was a beautiful day. A gentle breeze was blowing and the sun was on the horizon.
Kelvin played with his catapult as usual at the garden in front of his house while I was
watering the plants at the moment. A bolt out of the blue, Kelvin saw a beautiful bird resting
on one of the branches of the tree in the garden. Without wasting any second, he quickly
aimed his catapult to the bird.

However the shot missed to shoot the bird. The frighten bird immediately flew away.
Unfortunately, his shot hit the beehive which was on the nearby branch. The angry bees flew
out and chased after Kelvin. Kelvin was shocked and shouted loudly when he saw a swam of
bees flew out of the beehive towards him. He ran as fast as he could to escape.

Luckily Kelvin's mother heard his screaming at that time. She ran out of the house with
a thick blanket to shoo the swam of bees. Without hesitation, I quickly sprayed the tape
water toward the bees in order to chase them away. Fortunately, the bees had flew away from
Kelvin.

Sadly, Kelvin was bitten by the bees on his face and legs. He was howling in pain at the
moment. His mother quickly took him to the nearby clinic to get some treatments. Kelvin had
learned his lesson in that incident and promised not to be naughty again.

AN INCIDENT

During the second semester break, Lenny and Ken were so free. They were lazing
around the house and talking. Soon, they got bored. They then decided to catch fighting fish
at the stream nearby their house. They brought along a basket and small plastic pail.

The stream teeming with colorful fighting fish. Lenny and Ken felt delighted and
excited at the moment. Lenny filled the plastic pail with water without wasting any precious
time. While Ken quickly walked into the stream to catch fish using the basket that he brought
along. They were beaming with joy because they managed to catch many fish.

They decided to catch more fish. So Ken went to the middle of the stream. There he
found more fish. He was so delighted that he did not noticed a water snake was actually
behind him. Suddenly, Ken felt his hand was so painful when the water snake bit him.

Ken shouted loudly and left everything behind. Lenny quickly raced him home. He
was fortunate that his father was just came back from work. His father quickly sent him to the
nearby hospital to get examined by the doctors.
A BREAK IN INCIDENT

Last night I could not sleep well because it was a hot night. So, I went to open the
windows in my room. While I was opening the windows, I was shock to see a robber was
climbing up my neighbours'gate. My neighbours had gone overseas and no one was at home.

At first, I was shocked to see that situation. However, I tried to keep a cool head. I
quickly walked into my parents'room in order to wake my parents up. I told them about this
incident. Without any hesitation, my father quickly picked up his phone and called to the
police station.

Soon, a police patrol car arrived in front of my neighbours' house. Four policemen got
out from the patrol car. Two of them went into the house quietly while the other two waiting
outside the gate.

A bolt out of the blue, we heard some shouting and loud footsteps. The robber ran out
of the house and two officers were chasing after him. Unfortunately, the robber tripped down
by a stone and fell down. The policemen managed to catch and handcuffed him.

The policemen thanked and praised us for being alert to our surrounding. I felt so
ecstatic and happy because I had done a good deed. The moral of the story is we must always
be a willing horse.
