 INTRODUCTION

A Project on “HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT” is used to manage a details

of Hospital,Doctor,Employee and their issues such as:-

 It manages all the information about Hospital,Patient,Medicine.

 Great Security with the Logging Users and password facility.

 To easily maintain the database of all records.

 For all Patients Detail and all error will be notified.

 It can manage by one or more user.

The project is helpful for control the Hospital, Doctor, Patient,

Employee Data Base System and a single person can control the whole
system and no register maintains. It is a very useful application.

Input from user will be via keyboard input and mouse point and
click. The user will navigate through the software project by clicking on
icons and links. The icons will give appropriate responses to the given
input.
 OBJECTIVE AND SCOPE OF THE PROJECT

The main objective of this project are as follows:-

 Its aim is to decrease the manual work.

 By decreasing manual work, time will also save. Less chances of data lost
will be there.
 Provides the searching facilities based on various factors.Such as
Hospital, Patient, Employee, Test.
 To make the project user friendly. So that every one can use it easily.
 By creating the database search options.
 Facility of storing huge amount of data easily.
 Any of the operations requires only mouse click.
 To store data in this system will provide accurate result.
 To make it reliable and efficient to use.
 It is a fully secured system because we need to login and give password
to access this software.
 To make our work simple and easier, this system is useful.
 METHODOLOGY ADOPTED

The project “Hospital Management” is developed in Visual Basic. Visual Basic

is interactive software. In this project Microsoft Access is used as a database at
back end. We have used less methodologies as compare to other systems as it is
very useful for cost reduction and management of system.

We used Microsoft Access in order to connect our

software to the database which stores the entire details recording this project –
“HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT”.

CPU:- P-III & higher.
Memory:- 1 GB ram & higher.
Hard Disk :- 128 GB & higher.
System Type :- 32 bit Operating System.
Web Browser :-Mozilla Firefox / Google / Chrome / Opera / Internet
Explorer 9.0 & above.
SOFTWARE:-
Operating system :- Windows 98 or any above version.

Software used :– Visual Basic (Front End)

Ms Access (Back End)

Screen Resolution :- 1024*768 or higher.

 SYSTEM ANALYSIS

"Systems analysis is a problem solving technique that decomposes a system

into its component pieces for the purpose of the studying how well those
component parts work and interact to accomplish their purpose".According to
the Merriam-Webster dictionary, systems analysis is "the process of studying a
procedure or business in order to identify its goals and purposes and create
systems and procedures that will achieve them in an efficient way". Analysis
and synthesis, as scientific methods, always go hand in hand; they complement
one another. Every synthesis is built upon the results of a preceding analysis,
and every analysis requires a subsequent synthesis in order to verify and correct
its result.
