2. Fairness: The quality of being just, equitable and impartial. Employees feel
more motivated when they are treated fairly. So, fairness is also an important
ethical principle from the industry.
This news was published and modified on the 14th November, 2018. Daily Star
provides this information from where we got to know about the unethical incidents
which occurred in one of the famous restaurants in Sylhet named, Pach Bhai.Pach
Bhai is located at ZindaBazar, Sylhet city. Pach Bhai is famous for quality food but
over the years they started serving migratory birds out of greed. As per Bangladesh
Wildlife (Protection and Safety act) trapping, selling, buying, consuming or caging
wild birds is a punishable offence. But even knowing all of these acts they were
serving the migratory birds. The environmentalists with the help of District
Administration, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) and Forest department busted into
the Pach Bhai Restaurant and found over 100 such birds (in cooked and
refrigerated) which includes Bali hash, Andaman teal and many other local birds.
They have already filled a case against the owner of this popular restaurant.
--------This was an unethical incident where people were serving
migratory birds. They were not loyal towards their customers. They were greedy
and dishonest in a sense. They were causing damage. There were also
environmental issues.
This news was published on the 21st November; 2018.We collected this news
through B.B.C from where we got to know about the unethical incident which
occurred near the school premises. Adverts for fast food giants Burger King and
McDonald's have been banned after they were placed less than 100 meters from the
gates of primary schools. The McDonald's poster for the Cadbury Flake Mc Flurry
and Burger kings poster Whopper were seen at a bus stop from the boundary of a
primary school. Billboard owner JCDecaux was also solely responsible for this
incident.JCDecaux said that the Burger King ad had been incorrectly placed due to
a "data conflict" in its booking system. Banning both ads for being inappropriately
targeted at children, the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) told the
companies to ensure that they took measures in future to ensure that HFSS product
ads were not directed at children under 16, including that they were not displayed
in close proximity to a primary or secondary school. McDonald's already
apologized for the placement of the advert. They said that they had removed it as
soon as they became aware of the mistake.
