Check tightness of all bolts, clamps and connecting terminals, vermin proofing of all holes
Visually inspect covers, locks, louvers, screens, and internal coil cooling ducts for dust build-up. Under discharged condition, Va
shall be used to remove dust as per required frequency
Check for the proper ventilation in transformer chamber and room
Check the temperature of windings
Check the illumination level inside the room area with the help of lux meter.
Check the underground cable trenches, cable ways to ensure clean and dry without any foreign material
All the documents are drawings are updated
Check and rectify any loose connections in the control and power wiring parts
Check the condition of Transformer bushings for any damage
Check the Condition of winding and insulation for any damages
Names of authorised persons are clearly mentioned & authorized access controls mechanism is maintained
Check Primary side HT Cable connections and termination kit.
Check the Secondary side busduct connections
Check the Earthing Connections for body and neutral connectivity with ground.
Please conduct planned maintenance of Transformers as per OEM recommendations
Is there log book covering all the activities & fully updated
Cooling Fan testing by OTI/WTI temperature (manually by rotating the prob)
Check all Monitoring Equipment working status (Meters/Indications/Numerical Relays/Meters/ Annunciator)
Check tightness of all bolts, clamps and connecting terminals, vermin proofing of all holes
Check the hair crack for Transformer bushings as well
Check & Monitor OLTC Reading
Check the tightness of the Connection of busbars/ cables.at both HV & LV Side.
Monitoring Transformer Oil Level, Leakage of oil, & Calibration of Oil Gauge
OLTC continuity check (by connecting analogue meter across all the phase terminal and OLTC operation)
