Amazon FBA Heroes Checklist

1) Watch entire Module 1 and understand Amazon FBA as a whole and the entire
business model.

2) Decide whether you will sell broad/general products or niche/specific.

3) Create and setup your Seller Central account..

4) Start product research! You will need a web application and a chrome
extension. Our choices are Viral Launch or Jungle Scout. (Viral Launch
recommended)
5) Be sure the product(s) found matches the Heroes criteria before moving
forward. (See lecture “What To Know Before You Start Product Research” for
criteria in Module 3)

6) Next you will want to check the profit margins of the product and ensure our
margins are above 35%+ (See lecture “Calculating Your Profit Margin To Determine
If It’s Worth It” to calculate margins in Module 4)

7) If product meets the Heroes criteria, and margins are above 35%+, you will then
move forward and ensure the product is not patented, nor seasonal. (See lecture
“Patents and Trademarks” & “Seasonality” in Module 3)

8) Next you will want start contacting suppliers and finding our long-term partner.
We do so by going to Alibaba.com and searching in our “main keyword” for the
product we chose.

9) Be sure you are toggling “Gold Supplier” and “Trade Assurance” to ensure we
are filtering for good quality suppliers.

10) We will then contact AS MANY supplier’s as possible using our “Initial Contact
Supplier Template” and acquire as many quotes as we can.

11) While we wait to have for our supplier responses and quotes, we will want to
go ahead and start getting our logo designed. (See lecture “Creating A Powerful
Logo” in Module 4)

12) Once we receive our quotes, we will then eliminate the suppliers we do not
intend to work with (based on communication, too inflated of prices, English
speaking, etc) and move forward with the ones that have potential.

13) We will begin the negotiation process, and come to an agreement on price per
unit, MOQ, and shipping quotes. (Recheck profit margins again once all numbers
are collected and decide whether you want to ship via Air or Sea)

14) Next once we agree on a price, we will then sample the product and ask to
have it shipped to our house so we can inspect it and ensure it’s quality. (See
lecture “Ordering Your Sample” in Module 4)

15) If the sample turns out to be good and we like it, we can then move forward
with placing our order with our supplier. Ensure you are paying via PayPal or
Alibaba Trade Assurance and NOT wire transferring any money. (If freight
forwarder is needed, refer to lecture “Hiring The Best Freight Forwarder” in
Module 4)

16) Congratulations! Now you’ve placed your first order! Next you will want to
purchase a single UPC code from NationwideBarcodes.com. (See lecture
“Understanding UPC/FNSKU Barcodes and Obtaining One” in Module 4)

16) Go to Amazon Seller Central and create a new listing using the UPC barcode
you just purchased. “See lecture “Crafting The Most Compelling Amazon Listing
That Sells” in Module 5)

17) Once the listing is created. (it does not need to be fully optimized yet) You will
then print the FNSKU barcodes and send it to your supplier by going to Inventory
> Manage Inventory. On the far right hand side of your product column, click the
UP/DOWN arrow and select “Print Item Labels” on the dropdown menu. Once
there, download the item labels and send the PDF to your supplier to have them
print on your product packaging.

18) Next you will need to send your supplier the shipping label. (See lecture
“Creating A Shipping Plan” in Module 5) And you will need to send them your logo
to print onto your product or product packaging as well. Send them file received
by designer.

19) Now you are good to go with your supplier and ready to start your crafting and
optimizing your product listing, and preparing for launch. (See lecture “Crafting
The Most Compelling Amazon Listing That Sells” & “Optimizing Your Listing The
Absolute Best Way Possible” in Module 5)

20) Next thing you’ll need to do is go ahead and create your product photography
done. You can either shoot them yourself, hire a friend, or hire a professional. (See
lecture “How To Get Your Product Photography Done The Right Way” in Module 5)
Once our listing is complete, optimized and crafted correctly with our product
photos. We can move on to preparing for launch.

21) Once our product gets to Amazon’s Fulfillment Center and our product goes
live. We will need to generate 5-10 initial reviews. (See lecture “Getting Your First
Initial Reviews That Complies With Amazon's TOS” in Module 6) Be sure that if you
are for example generating 5 reviews, that 3 are verified and 2 are unverified. If 10
total, 6+ are verified and the rest are unverified. NEVER have more unverified than
verified.

22) Once we receive our initial reviews and acquire social proof, we can then start
running our PPC campaign (See lecture “Running Extremely High Converting PPC
Campaigns” in Module 6) and start running our giveaway campaigns as well (See
lecture “Doing Giveaways And What Mistakes To Avoid” in Module 6) Please
ensure that we are running giveaways correctly in terms of how many to giveaway
by watching lecture “Find Out Exactly How Many Units Your Competitors Are
Selling A Day” in Module 3)

23) Once we run our PPC campaign and our giveaway campaign for about 3-7
days. We should be ranked on page 1 for our main keyword. Now we have
successfully launched our product and ready to generate revenue!
