The edgeConnect Early Visualisation Approach (EVA) is the first phase in an agile development
lifecycle supported by the edgeConnect platform. Like most agile techniques it follows an
iterative approach to development.

The lack of a common understanding and users getting a real feel for a system leads to

Prototypes don’t provide the
non-functional requirements
for IT
EVA enforces the separation between presentation and
process on one hand, and between process and integration
on the other, allowing an application to have multiple
presentations, for example to support multi-channel or
multi-branded applications. Similarly separating process
from integration allows integration to multiple
sources and allows integration points to change without
affecting the process e.g. when migrating between databases
EVA provides a pre-built, pre-tested and proven Run
Time Environment (RTE) that manages these issues for
