ABSTRACT

The project work “DESIGN OF MULTI SPINDLE DRILL HEAD OF S.P.M

USING PRO/E” deals with three-dimensional modeling in PRO/E.

Special Purpose Machines are widely used in machine shops where bulky production of a
Particular product is to be carried out Special Purpose Machines are found to be more
effective considering the economic viability and other requirements.

Our project deals with the design of multi spindle drilling head for a special purpose drilling
machine for drilling holes on a four cylinder block.

The basic requirement of the machine is to produce six holes on rear face of cylinder block
by using six spindles.
MINI PROJECT:

ABSTRACT:

The project based on the tensile, compressive of composites made from

natural fibers and granite powder as filler reinforcements and epoxy resin.
The tensile and compressive and tests of composites based on coconut
shell filler particles at three different filler contents viz. 3%, 4%, and 5%,
were carried out using Universal Tensile Testing Machine and their results
were presented. Experimental results showed that tensile and
compressive properties of the composites increased with the increase of
the filler particle content. The relation between stress and percentage of
filler for tensile and flexural tests were studied. Concerning the relation
between the tensile and compressive properties using natural fibers and
granite powder to the epoxy resin.
