1. Purpose:
 The  purpose  of  this  document  is  to  ensure  correct  methodology  in  carrying  out  Insulation  work  on 
Flow Meter.   

2. Scope:
 This document covers detailed procedure for installation of Rockwool Insulation on the Flow meter. 
.
3. Instructions Details of Installation of Thermal Insulation & Cladding:
 All surfaces to be insulated shall be dry, clean and free from rust, loose mill scale, grease oil, dirt and  
other foreign matter.  
 On Flow Meter LRB mattresses shall be applied. 
 Install the LRB Mattresses having 75mm thickness and gap filled with compressed Rockwool. 
 After the application of LRB mattresses, tightly secured the Insulation materials with S.S. tie wire.    
 At Flange joints LRB mattresses shall be secured to the cover by adhesives.

4. ALUMINIUM JACKETING 
 
 All Insulated surface will be finally covered with Al Cladding.  
 Plain Aluminum sheet should be fabricated so as to fit properly around the Insulated surface. 
 Aluminium Cladding will be fixed with min overlap of 50 mm.
 The Aluminium cladding will be secured with ST Screws & SS Bands as per requirements. 
 All joints to be sealed using sealant.  
 Flange Boxes will be removable Type. & fix with toggle clip.
