Concrete Earth Inspection Housings BS 7430:2011

A range of concrete earth inspection pits load rated up to 4,500kgs and suitable for
all types of earthing and lightning protection applications, providing an accessible
recess into which earth rods are installed. Suitable for use within soil or for casting
into concrete or Tarmac sub-bases.

Light Duty Plastic Inspection Housings BS 7430:2011

Light duty polypropylene earth pits have a maximum loading capacity of 2,000kgs,
are UV stabilised against degradation by sunlight and non-brittle to prevent cold
weather damage.
The unique, detachable easy-locking lid ensures security of installed earth rods
or conductors as the locking mechanism can only be operated by a special key,

Termination capacity can be doubled simply by stacking two pits together, allowing
deeper earth electrode connections to be made.
These housings are able to accept earthbars within the housing, providing additional
tape/conductor connection points if required. Supplied without conductor fixing
bolts, please order as separate items.

Heavy Duty Plastic Inspection Housings BS 7430:2011

Heavy duty polypropylene earth pits are specifically designed, shaped and sized to
fit easily into brick-paved walkways. The lip around the base makes a flush fit with
standard sized bricks making the housing blend in without the need for a cement
surround. Also suitable for casting into concrete and can be used with our range of
WES earth rod sealing kits.
Featuring a strong GRP lid, the housings have a maximum loading capacity of

8 6,000kgs, are UV stabilised against degradation by sunlight and non-brittle to

prevent cold weather damage. The lid locks into the base and can be opened with a
standard flat screwdriver.
These housings are able to accept earthbars within the housing, providing additional
tape/conductor connection points if required. Supplied without conductor fixing
bolts, please order as separate items.
