Chapter 7 Bill of Quantities

1 Description
1.1 The Bill of Quantities is prepared according to the national standards, industry standards and
the calculation rules of quantities agreed in the contract terms. The measurement adopts the legal
unit of measurement of IEC international standards.

1.2 The Bill of Quantities shall be read and understood together with the instructions to
Subcontractors, general contract terms, special contract terms, technical standards and
requirements and drawings in the bidding documents.

1.3 The Bill of Quantities is only the common basis of the Subcontractor's quotation, and the
actual project measurement and payment of the project price shall comply with the contract
terms and the relevant provisions of the technical standards and requirements.

1.4 The Subcontractor shall carry out construction in accordance with the requirements of the
technical terms, construction drawings, the instructions of the Employer and the current relevant
specifications. If the increased quantities due to the Subcontractor's own construction mistakes
are all borne by the Subcontractor in the implementation process.

1.5 The Subcontractor shall fully understand the quantities in this chapter in detail, and the
Employer will not accept to ask the Employer for quantities and increase the project cost on the
grounds of increasing the quantities of equipment, materials, etc.
