 Main Idea
The aim of this project is to talk about my work, the responsibilities I have, my duties,
my schedule and how I fell about my work. Explaining to you how I do all the
necessary to have a good result in my place of work.
 Introduction

Talking about my work is one of the most interesting things, because I don’t have the
regular job, of going to an office or just give a service to other people, of course that I
work in the service industry, but my work is all about service, concentration, and to
have very good skills to prevent accidents. I work for the develop of my country and to
welcome a lot of tourist, to let them know that we have a safe air space, I work as an
Air Traffic Controller.
 Body

My Work

Air traffic controllers’ primary concern is safety, but they also must direct aircraft
efficiently to minimize delays. They manage the flow of aircraft into and out of the
airport airspace, guide pilots during takeoff and landing, and monitor aircraft, as they
travel through the skies.

Controllers usually manage multiple aircraft at the same time and must make quick
decisions to ensure the safety of the aircraft.

Duties

 Issue landing and takeoff instructions to pilots

 Monitor and direct the movement of aircraft on the ground and in the air,
using radar, computers, or visual references

 Control all ground traffic at airports, including baggage vehicles and airport
workers

 Manage communications by transferring control of departing flights to traffic

control centers and accepting control of arriving flights

 Provide information to pilots, such as weather updates, runway closures,

and other critical information

 Alert airport response staff, in the event of an aircraft emergency

My Schedule

Our Schedule is to work three days in a row and then have two days off. Of Course
in those three days in a row we don’t work all day, we work eight hours every day.

How I feel about my work

My work is one of the most exciting works, because you can interact with different
people and you can learn a lot. Besides you have the responsabilliy of providing an
excellent service and at the same time you have to be a quick thinker and teke fast
decition every day. It is a very special and interesting work.
 Conclusion

Being an air taffic controller has changed the way I think, because this job gives
you the whole picture of everything and you star to think about all the
cnosecuences that may result if you take a wrong decision, in the place you
work and in your live. About this final production it is very good, because it
helps us to develop aour writing and speaking skills.
