* Ensemble Auditions -Is a collaborative auditions process. Producers want a preview of how you work as
an individual and as a cast. This is an optional audition.
 The Basics:
The Host will call your number when it is time for your group to go backstage.
They will escort your group to the waiting area, tell you about the process, and
answer any questions you might have. The Host will then lead your group
backstage to audition.

You are allowed 2 minutes in total for your audition. Your introduction is not
timed, but you must be brief- slate your name and audition number, and your
audition pieces . If you have a singing audition, please sing first.

There is a chair onstage for you to use. Please return it to its original spot when
you are done.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask one TCUTAs Coordinators
or Volunteers.

 The Callback FAQs:
Q: How do I know if I’m called back?

A: The callback forms completed by producers will be posted in the

theatre lobby on a display board, organized by company. They will be
posted every 15-30 actors.

Q: What do I do once I am called back?

A: If you receive a callback, you will initial the posting, and then sign
up for a time on the callback sign-up sheet as posted nearby.

Q: Where are callbacks?

A: TCUTA volunteers will have signs posted on how to get to your

auditions throughout Saint Paul Conservatory for the Performing Arts
(SPCPA).

Q: Can I attend callbacks on a different day than my audition?

A: Please do not attend your callbacks on a different day unless

otherwise directed by a Producer.

Q: What if I can’t attend callbacks?

A: Initial your callback slot and speak with the Callboard Managers.
They will give you a “pink slip” where you may write the reason you
cannot attend, and then insert it in an envelope (along with your
headshot and resume) and deliver to the Producer.

Directions
From the North – Exit southbound I-35E at Wacouta Street/10th Street. Merge onto
Wacouta and go four blocks to 6th Street. Turn right and go eight blocks on 6th to St.
Peter Street. Take a left onto W 5th Street and the Lowry building will be on your
right.

From the South – Exit northbound I-35E at Kellogg Boulevard. Turn right onto Kellogg.
Go four blocks to Market Street. Turn left and go two blocks on Market to 5th Street.
Take the second right onto 5th Street. The Lowry building is on the next corner at 5th
and St. Peter Streets.

From the East – Exit westbound I-94 at 6th Street. Go ten blocks straight ahead to St.
Peter Street. Take a left on St. Peter Street. The Lowry building is on the corner of 5th
and St. Peter Streets, which will be on your left.

From the West – Exit eastbound I-94 at 5th Street. Go straight across 7th Street and
continue on 5th to St. Peter Street. The Lowry building is on the corner of 5th and St.
Peter Streets, which will be on your right hand side.

Please note that metered parking on the street is sometimes available within a block
or two of our main entrance on 5th Street. Meters in downtown St. Paul are enforced
8:00 AM – 10:00 PM.
