Q1. What system settings are required for installation of PreDCR / AutoDCR?
Point A) Give full rights to C drive.

Step 1:- Go to control panel.

Step 2:- Click on user accounts.

Step 4:- Now move the cursor to never notify.

Q2. How to ‘mark margin’ in PreDCR drawing?

Step 1:- Click on second tab ‘mark margin’ command of PreDCR Toolbar.

Step 2:- Select ‘Yes’ button.

Step 1:- To mark direction reference circle select as follows from PreDCR dropdown

Step2:- Insert the direction reference circles inside the proposed work in the plot.

plan and place it in the required floor plans.

Step 5:- After copying the direction reference circles in all plans (including Terrace floor plan)
then PreDCR verification can be done.

Step 1:- Draw mortgage area polyline as per required area on any one of the proposed floors.

Case no.1: To select road widening concession as ‘Grant of TDR’.

Step 1:- Click on ‘Road widening concession’ dropdown in DCR project dialog box.

Step2:- Select ‘Grant of TDR’ option.

Step 1:- Click on “Road Widening Concession” dropdown in DCR Project dialog box .

Step 2:- Select “ALL” option, Enter ‘Road widening Floor No & TDR Area’ and click on ‘OK’
button.

Q.11. How to mark Special_Use_BUA ?

Case no.1: To mark BUA for special use building e.g. proposed church building
Step 1:- Select Plot Use ‘ Assembly’.

Step 2:- Select, plot sub use , Religious (since propsed building is a church).

Step 3:- Select land use zone according to the land details. (in this case it is NA), click ‘OK’.

Step 4:- The specific layer for Assembly—religious—building will therefore be created in
PreDCR.

Step 5:-Draw BUA polyline for structure under layer SpecialUse_BUA in the proposed building
Plan.

Step 6:-Then Mark Special use BUA polyline, under PreDCR drop down toolbar,

Q.12 How to mark ‘Ramp’ in PreDCR drawing?
Step 1:- Select ‘Ramp’ layer in layer dropdown.

Step 3:-To assign name for Ramp follow the path, under PreDCR drop down as follows:

Step 1:- Select following layer according to the building type to draw BUA Outline in layer
dropdown:

‘ResiBUAOutline’--> for residential building

‘CommBUAOutline’ -->for commercial building

‘IndBUAOutline’ --> for Industrial building

‘SpecialUseBUAOutline’ --> For other than residential, commercial and industrial buildings i:e
educational buildings, religious buildings .

Step 1:- Select ‘Existing Structure’ layer in layer dropdown.

General instructions:

1) Check parameters - land use, sub landuse while running the drawing
2) Check layer properties - line colour, line weight, and line type must be in ‘By layer’.
PreDCR layers must not contain any line entity.
3) Plot layer: Avoid more than one entity in plot layer.
Assign text in the same layer as that of entity by using ‘Mtext’ command
4) Road widening: Text of road widening should not be edited once the marking is done.
5) Accessory uses: Septic tank must be minimum 1m away from plot boundary in front
setback.
6) Net plot: Net plot should not be drawn manually. It would automatically be created
while marking margin.
7) Print additional details: Must give text for each entity by using Mtext command.
Extract of master plan must be in Autocad drawing. Image format will not be accepted
to create PDF.
8) Section should not be marked in Print additional detail layer.
9) Elevations, location plan, extract of master plan are the entities to be marked in this
layer.
10) Margin: The front side margin will automatically be taken by PreDCR. Select the side 1 or
side 2 or rear margin.
11) All poly line entities should be closed
12) Site Plan contains plot ploy line, (net area ploy line and margin line are generated by
program), proposed work (building line), road (existing /road widening), green strip,
RWHS, Amenities/sub structure.
