The equipmentaterial shall be Type and Routine tested according to applicable Industry Standards. In-Kingdom Manufacturers for whom ten (10) years of manufacturing experience and five (5) years of successful field experience cannot be met, on similar equipmenvmaterial, manufacturer plant may be considered for prequalification subject to the satisfactory completion of type, special and routine tests as specified in the applicable TMSS. 23 For new technology equipmentimaterial, such as SAS equipment, AMI, Communication, Protection etc., the requirement of manufacturing and field experience is at the sole discretion of Standards & Specifications Department (S&SD), 24 — Manufacturers shall update National Grid, Saudi Arabia on any changes made in design/material of prequalified equipment together with all technical details pertaining to the change/modification including a comparison chart clearly indicating the changes made for Company review and approval.
