(1973)

All wires are identified by either a circuit number, -wire gauge or color,
while the symbol which appears at the right of each diagram identifies the
method of connecting the wires.
For additional information covering circuit identification, refer to CTS-2504.

The various electrical units (except headlights) on these chassis are pro-
tected by fuses located in a panel beneath the left side of the instrument panel.
If a short develops in the headlamp circuit, the circuit breaker located in the
light switch relieves the load.
To assure that the electrical system is kept in the best condition, it is good
practice to inspect the system at least once a month for the possibility of loose
or frayed wires, loose battery connections 01 other deficiencies in the system
which contribute to inadequate performance from the electrical units.
IMPORTANT; The wiring harness on these chassis is routed inside the
right side rail from the engine to rear of the frame.
Extreme care must be taken when welding or drilling is being performed
on the rail, as distortion of the wiring will result.
