Lavasa:
Lavasa, India’s planned hill city, embodies the spirit of human nature to Live, Work,
Learn and Play in harmony with nature. It is a self-contained world that is the
perfect combination of technology and infrastructural advancements, where the
amenities and facilities of modern day living are offset by an environment that
allows life to thrive. Lavasa-a planned hill city is a continuous buzzing centre for
business. Located between two major cities - Mumbai and Pune, Lavasa is suitable
for industries such as hospitality, tourism, health, education and IT & ITES.
LAVASA TOWNSHIP:

Lavasa is India's planned hill city being developed by HCC. It is located in the picturesque landscape of
the Sahayadri Mountains and is set amidst hills, at the shore of Warasgaon lake. The unique focus and
guiding philosophy of Lavasa is to make it a desired location for business and education to leisure and
entertainment. Lavasa has been structured to encourage a dynamic city community, with its Town Halls
and cobbled lakeside promenades for shopping, entertainment and eating out. Lavasa is planned for a
permanent population of 3 lakh residents and a tourist inflow envisaged at 20 lakh per annum. A 3 hours
drive from Mumbai and an hour’s drive from Pune, the city is 1/5 the size of Greater Mumbai. Based on
the principles of New Urbanism it is meticulously planned to strike a balance between urban living and
preservation of the environment. The Master Plan of Lavasa, developed by HOK, USA, has won 4
awards.

The Lavasa International Convention Centre (LICC) located in the picturesque
valley of Lavasa overlooking the Dasve Lake offers a versatile and professionally-
managed venue for not just business but also leisure.
The LICC is an architectural masterpiece, which blends well with the exquisite
natural surroundings while providing access to flexible facilities that are equipped
with state-of-the-art communication equipment.
The convention centre is an ideal venue to host meetings, conventions,
congresses, launches, seminars, weddings and other events hosting from 20 –
1500 people. The Centre is spread over 1.5 acres of land offering 34500 sq ft. of
flexible floor space to cater for variety of events and conventions.
convention space includes 1 main hall for Plenary session, which is further
divisible into 8 smaller halls. The meetings space at LICC also includes 6
additional break-out rooms, a Board room, a Business Centre, a Media centre, and
a VIP room. The extended foyer space is ideal for Networking Sessions. For
Meetings and Conferences: The centre can host Cocktails for 1,500 guests,
Conference for 1,000 delegates, Training programes for 500 or Board meetings for
just 15.
For Socials: The main hall has a capacity to accommodate upto 900 guest, while
the 4,200 sq. ft. of additional extended foyer at Promenade level can host an
additional 600-700 pax for other wedding related events
It allows visitors and delegates to explore everything ranging from team-building
adventure sports, water sports and spas, to nature trails that let you lose
yourself. Located at 3000 feet above sea level at Lavasa, the unique location of
LICC allows you to access international standard facilities in an idyllic and serene
space.
