I use stinging nettles but any shrimp safe leaf will do.

Dry them in the oven for between 10-20


minutes on its lowest setting my oven that’s 50°c. Just keep an eye on them for burning or
darkening. There are other ways to dry leaves but this way is the quickest.

Then powder the leaves and bee pollen. Mix them with spirulina powder. Then using wooden
kebab skewers or wooden coffee stirrers, dip the stick into egg white and then into the
powdered ingredients until the egg white is completely covered.

Next place the dipped skewers onto a piece of baking parchment and into the oven on its lowest
setting again this can take anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours just keep an eye on
them. You don’t want them to burn.

Store them in a plastic ziploc type bag to keep them from moisture.

Note: For electric ovens, just put it on the lowest setting and prop the door open slightly. A
wooden spoon works well.
