A RESOLUTION CONCURRING THE APPOINTMENT OF Ms. RAQUEL D. BULAONG AS BARANGAY

SECRETARY OF BARANGAY MABAYUAN, OLONGAPO CITY.

WHEREAS, the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections were held on May 14, 2018;

WHEREAS, per Section 2 of Republic Act No. 10952, term of office of the newly elected Barangay
and Sangguniang Kabataan officials shall commence at noon of June 30 next following their election;

WHEREAS, Section 389 (b) (5) of Republic Act No. 7160, otherwise known as the Local
Government Code of 1991, provides that the Punong Barangay shall, upon approval by a majority of

all members of the Sangguniang Barangay, appoint or replace the Barangay Treasurer, the Barangay
Secretary, and other appointive Barangay officials;

WHEREAS, Punong Barangay Edwin M. Esposo appointed on July 02, 2018 Ms. Raquel D.
Bulaong as Barangay Secretary of Barangay Mabayuan, Olongapo City;

WHEREAS, Ms. Raquel D. Bulaong meets all the qualifications and none of the disqualifications
as provided in Section 395 of the same Code;

On motion of Kagawad Mike R. Sagun, duly seconded by Kagawad Leticia D. Fernandez, be it:

RESOLVED, that the Sangguniang Barangay of Mabayuan, Olongapo City, in session duly
assembled, hereby resolves to concur the appointment of Ms. Raquel D. Bulaong as Barangay Secretary
of Mabayuan, Olongapo City;

RESOLVED FINALLY, that a copies of the approved resolution be forwarded to the Department
of the Interior and Local Government, Office of the City Mayor, Sangguniang Panglungsod, City
Accounting Office, Commission on Audit, all in Olongapo City, and the Civil Service Commission,
Provincial Office, Zambales, for their information and records purposes.

ADOPTED UNANIMOUSLY, this 7th of July, 2018
