THE 55 MOONS OF QORIBU 1 OF 11

Jwlio
01–02 Population: under 500,000 Rarity: +4 general; +1 food -related items
Jwlio is an agricultural moon, originally settled as a food world for the Killiks but is now under the control of
Chiss expatriates. The Chiss Ascendancy flexes its muscles on occasion but generally, this moon is left to
its own devices.

Eyyl
03–04 Population: under 50,000 Rarity: +5
Eyyl is overgrown with hearty, genetically manipulated plant life. The buildings are engulfed by plants
super-charged in a Killik experiment gone wrong. Harvesting of these edible plants feed the majority of the
miners in the nearby asteroid belt. The miners spend their downtime on Eyyl and are always desperate for
entertainment and technological diversions.

Zvbo
05–06 Population: under 500,000 Rarity: +3 General; +2 Medical Equipment
This moon would have a breathable atmosphere if it weren’t for the constant dust storms. Parking, unfortu-
nately, is outside. The indoor factory spaces, refit from an ore processing outfit that is now centuries old,
hold many medical items for trade.

Ruu
07–08 Population: under 1,000 Rarity: +3 General; +2 Starships (hulks); +2 Starship repairs (U-pull-it)
Ruu is a crusty planet with a fragile surface. In orbit between Ruu and Qoribu is Feebik’s Salvage Yard.
Feebik, a chevin, is always looking for a deal. He has a solid reputation with most mooners, though he is in
competition with Babba-Ro-Babba-Yig’s orbital scrapyard near Koxtul.

Nrogu
09–10 Population: under 1,000 Rarity: +5 General; +3 Starships; +1 Starship repairs
This lifeless rock is a re-fueling station run by a team of non-Basic-speaking Chadra-Fan. Their rates are a
little high for consumable of all sorts, including food paste. The auto kitchen software they trade in are an
old Republic cartridge media that seems to be indestructible. The Chadra-Fan have a small shipyard that
produces knock off versions of many starships known throughout the galaxy but they usually lack the raw
materials to build from scratch.
THE 55 MOONS OF QORIBU 2 OF 11

Kr
11–12 Population: Unknown Rarity: Unknown
Cloaked in the sensor-dampening shroud of frozen ethmane, the surface of this world is a mystery to most
mooners. Many claim to have been here but their tales of strange creatures and supernatural occurrences
must be the stuff of alcohol-soaked spacer yarns.

Porv
13–14 Population: under 50,000 Rarity: +6; foodstuffs: +0; machinery +2
Porv is a muddy-surfaced moon with a rich trade in tubers. The variety of starchy root vegetables that can
survive in the soils of this soggy world is surprising. The inhabitants are a mix of species, all speculators
involved in the trade of agriculture. Broken machinery and droids are a common sight in the muddy fields
of Porv. The smell of rust pervades the air.

Ekkor
15–16 Population: under 1,000 Rarity: no markets
Ekkor is a rocky planet with a warm, humid, poisonous atmosphere. This moon is in a decent location and
is a good place to park but has little else going on and no permanent residents. Ships are often abandoned
here, though salvage rights do not allow for possession of these vessels.

Babnar
17–18 Population: under 100,000 Rarity: +6
Babnar is a temperate world home to religious extremists from Pergitor in the Minos Cluster. They were
exiled from The Church of Infinite Perception for their re-interpretations of ancient texts. The group on
Babnar is a much kinder branch that has dedicated themselves to the murder space wizards. They came
to the Unknown Regions to regain honor in a crusade against the Sorcerers of Rhand. Babnar is as far as
they got.

Tonkreet
19–20 Population: 5,000,000 Rarity: +3
This moon is covered pole to pole in low-rise urban and industrial terrain. Most of the factories have been
abandoned and re-purposed multiple times. There are overworked service droids replacing consumables
and offering repair services but everything is overpriced. There are the occasional actual shipments to this
moon and trade is robust with the Chiss Ascendancy.
THE 55 MOONS OF QORIBU 3 OF 11

Seskri
21–22 Population: 10,000 Rarity: +4; machinery +0
This is a grassy moon with a thin, breathable atmosphere. A small colony of Ithorians roam these lands in
repulsorcraft linkable to similar craft. Like on their home world, they do not allow themselves to step foot on
the surface of the moon. They have trouble growing anything other than small plants and stubborn weeds,
yet they feel the planet speaks through these plants. The stars show through the atmosphere at all times of
day, though the occasional rain shower will brighten the day as the clouds’ density refracts the light in
beautiful patterns. Some Seskri Ithorians believe these spots of brightness are portents and a divination cult
has already begun to try and understand what the tiny world is trying to tell them. Their crops are low yield
but very well-tended and high quality. Repulsorcraft, repair tools, and machinery are always in demand.

Bort
23–24 Population: under 50,000 Rarity: +5
This rocky moon is a failed mining outfit now full of filthy dredge water, oily mine shafts and low class
casinos. The games found here are honest, though. Anyone caught cheating is usually summarily executed
by the others at the table. The constables here tend to look the other way in these instances, in complicit
agreement that cheaters, like poor mine managers, don’t deserve second chances. Bort’s markets have
little to offer but plenty of consumers. The few flush with winnings are always looking for something to spend
it on.

Fandük
25–26 Population: 1,000,000 Rarity: +4; communication technology: +0; machinery +2; military: +3
Mostly Chiss inhabit this moon. They offer few services and can trade used items. There are opportunities
for settlement claims but they require one year residency and induction into the Chiss Ascendancy. Most
mooners view this settlement as a foothold for the Chiss Ascendancy to begin conquering the system. But
the orderly citizens of Fandük struggle just the same as the next mooner.

Gondafaur
27–28 Population: under 10,000 Rarity: +6
A large, ice-encrusted moon, where water is mined in the ice caverns by small, single-pilot beam-cutters
that flit about, removing large chunks of ice and vacuuming up tiny showers of crystals and spray. This is a
completely independent outfit of Chiss expatriates. They still have the shadow of the Ascendancy looking
over their shoulders, but they are proof that legitimate enterprises can make it without the Chiss Ascendan-
cy. Trade here is barter exchange only but the miners always need something and are willing to give up a
well cared for and well worn piece of equipment to get it.

Barskhole
29–30 Population: under 50,000 Rarity: +6; foodstuffs: +0; machinery +2
Yeah. Somebody named a moon that. It probably has more hopeful names among astronomers on distant
worlds who have never been here but it has earned that moniker out here. Rammee Paldo, a toydarian
crime lord, has made promises to protect the losers from around the system who come here seeking
refuge. Thus far, he has not backed down, twice standing up to the Chiss Ascendancy. But all things being
equal, his is a hideout for criminals. They are a cruel and untrustworthy lot. No one goes to Barskhole
unless they have to.
THE 55 MOONS OF QORIBU 4 OF 11

Ginny’s
31–32 Rarity: +2; mods: +0
Ginny is a Gammorean sow with twenty in her clan. She seeks to reign in the violent tendencies of her clan,
especially her entitled brood. She runs a hot rod chop shop. She buys junk, owns Babba-Ro-Babba-Yig’s
orbital shipyard, and allows her brood to work out their cruel tendencies making some of the most powerful,
aggressive starships and speeders this side of Corellia. Ginny always has little crimes that people can
perform for her but if they bring heat her way, she will not hesitate to feed them to her young.

Parlee Rung
33–34 Rarity: +6; foodstuffs: +0; machinery +2
This medium-sized moon is home to many insects brought to the planetoid ages ago to assist in the pollina-
tion of crops. Since the crops failed due to soil inefficiencies, the insects have gained prominence. They
subsist on descendants of the rodents that arrived on the ships of early settlers and the eight foot tall
flowering plants that grow from the cracks in the moons surface. Their population is kept in check by the
massive carnivorous plants that seem to bolster the root networks of the other plants, ensuring survival in
such a brittle environment.

Roton
35–36 Rarity: +4
Roton has an open port and trading post headed by Jep Gisko, a crime lord known throughout the system
as a cruel and unforgiving businessman. He has made most of his fortunes from those that Ginny can no
longer deal with because she is afraid her progeny will destroy them. Jep has started a flirtation with Hutt
representatives that, while they may not pan out directly, have certainly brought Qoribu to their attention.
Many are upset with Jep for this as it could cause the Chiss to demand control to keep the Hutts out. Any
conflict could bring the Imperials in, looking for a lucrative base in the Unknown Regions. The prices here
are steep but Jep Gisko favors flatterers and friends alike.

Berborbusk
37–38 Rarity: +4; Trade with outsiders is rare and negotiations fraught
This icy moon is home to beautiful purple skies and a wide variation in sapient species. The little trade that
is conducted on this world is secretive exchanges between the inhabitants. Rare off world trade is conduct-
ed via the system-wide holo network and is often the only outside communication the people of Berborbusk
have. Many beings who were a poor fit for life on Berborbusk have reported that once they arrived, no one
would trade with them and they were eventually forced to leave.

Duohong
39–40 Rarity: +4; Research and medical technologies +1 (though sale is usually through the black market)
A slow moving moon that travels very closely to Qoribu during its long year. Mathematically, this planetoid’s
days are numbered. An expected collision with its parent is expected within the next two thousand years.
The moon is stable only part of its rotation around Qoribu (about seven months out of the twenty-three
month rotation). Scientists employed by the system’s most financially successful beings inhabit the moon
as often as it is safe. There have already been many failed attempts to change the position of the moon and
there will probably be many more.
THE 55 MOONS OF QORIBU 5 OF 11

Holbavak’s Stake
41–42 Population: under 1,000 Rarity: +3
This crusty moon is a sometime home to beings headed in or out of the system. It has a small commissary
and a safety shelter. It’s history lies in a mining claim that did not pan out. Holbavak — a different species
depending on who tells the story — came to Qoribu looking to find his fortune in a mining venture and
wound up ending it all by driving his ship into the gas giant after realizing his folly. The tale is a
run-of-the-mill story of starting out with hope, having it all turn against you, and then, finally, giving up.
Miners all around know this story in one form or another but mooners accept Holbavak as the everyman
who came before them.

Hosh
43–44 Population: 20,000 Rarity: +3
Nulliver’s Hold is a base on Hosh, a small blue moon in the Qoribu system. Mass Nulliver, the founder,
sought a place of refuge for his family and followers to get away from the religious persecution they found
in the Mid-Rim. Despite its foundation, the moon is universally a home to beings of low moral character.
Other moons have hired strong-willed individuals to go to the planet under color of authority with the intent
of cleaning it up but none have had more than a little success so far. This is a moon of free riders on the
lenient law enforcement of the system.

Ranx
45–46 Population: Unknown Rarity: No markets
This thick-atmosphered moon has a heavily ionized atmosphere and violent gusts of wind. Reputedly, it is
home to a group of “robot-men” who are sturdy enough to brave the harsh conditions but this seems unlike-
ly given the violent ion storms that wreak havoc on the moon’s surface. Attempts to colonize or even land
here are flirtations with survival. The occasional rescue mission arises when wealthy travelers find
themselves trapped here, but the success of such endeavors is usually gauged in survivors.

Seleng
47–48 Population: 300 Rarity: No trade here without express permission
This small outpost has a large array of communications equipment and taps into the Imperial holonet, CSA
Information Matrix, and the Csaus Framework. Slicers are always needed here. Mad Mooz is in control and
makes her bank by selling access to networks and information gleaned from communications system-wide.
The advosze claims that she is neutral in all conflicts but rumors claim that money sways her easily. Long
distance communications can be sent or received here for a fee.

Toulorok
49–50 Population: 150 Rarity: +4; +0 droid parts and repairs
This moon is an abandoned factory that has been refit to repair, modify, and even manufacture droids. All
classes and models are eagerly traded for. A small, diverse groups of aliens work here, their endeavor to
amass and liberate droids. Though not politically aligned with such movements, they do release many
free-willed droids to the galaxy. A group of Drall named Kav, several ugnaughts, jawa, and squibs (and other
races both small and technologically inclined) combine their efforts to unlock the secrets of artificial
sapience. They will not sell droids but sometimes trade them for other droids. No one seems to have noticed
that the droids they trade out have a tendency to disappear from their new owners in a short time.
THE 55 MOONS OF QORIBU 6 OF 11

Wun
51–52 Population: under 100 Rarity: +6; foodstuffs +0 negotiations off world through holonet
This moon is home to small farms mostly operated by droids. Sentient life is uncommon, as the crops are
harvested and loaded on transports by droids. The transports are picked up in orbit and distributed accord-
ing to the purchase agreements with the other moons. Rumors of a sinister plan by the sapients on Toulorok
connect to Wun, though all activity on this world seems simple and innocent.

Hedeball
53–54 Population: under 1,000 Rarity: +6; +0 starship repair facilities and parts
This moon’s horizon is almost always taken up by Qoribu. While there are many beautiful vistas, the surface
of the world makes survival difficult outside of the many domed habitats. At Drogan Bosh’s Hangar,
Hedeball offers the most advanced ship repair facilities in the system but it charges a high premium
because of the overhead of artificial environment. But some say it is worth the high fees for the excellent
work.

Yav
55–56 Population: under 1,000 Rarity: +6
The shallow seas of Yav cover the entire moon. The strong tidal forces of this slowly spinning planetoid
create some surf-worthy waves but the seas are generally tranquil. Stilted landing platforms can support
smaller starships that often come to Yav to witness the beauty of the seas or attend any of a wide variety of
sports contests. Repulsor-surfing, Catamaran racing, and jet-boat derbies take place all around the moon.

Cato Primordilux
57–58 Population: under 10,000 Rarity: +6; the small community here trades mostly in information
This moon was settled by a group of Neimoidians seeking to escape the intense capitalism of their society.
The group are shrewd by nature, however, and though they do not accept currency of any kind, they have
established their place in the system by brokering information and assets into and out of the system. They
take payment in barter or actionable data.

Gryke
59–60 Population: under 10,000 Rarity: +6; brawling weapons +1
This moon of iniquity is built around the violent arena fighting that came to the system nearly 45 years ago.
The participants are expert martial artists and the gruesome bouts are as intense as they are horrifying to
behold. The main source of income on the world is the gambling. Even between matches, off world betting
is a top seller. During elite matches, with high ticket prices, this moon hosts the top players in the system

.
THE 55 MOONS OF QORIBU 7 OF 11

Lunro
61–62 Population: 1,000,000 Rarity: +6
This small moon is caught in an erratic orbit around Qoribu, having been captured a relatively short time
ago. It’s surface is unstable, subject to the crushing twists and turns of gravity as it slowly settles into a
stable orbit over the next million years or so. In orbit around this moon are many stations and habitats, many
former scientific research stations, most now just full of beings who came here seeking to escape the rest
of the galaxy. The habitats are densely populated and in poor repair.

Eskav
63–64 Population: 20,000 Rarity: +6
This moon is rich in sodium, chromium, and dolovite. Plans were undertaken centuries ago to take all of this
moon’s resources, leaving it no larger than an asteroid. When mining began, the moon bore an atmosphere
and rudimentary plant and animal life. Now it is a rock, lifeless save for the protected mining camps. Many
of the superstitious miners claim that it is a ghost world and that all who mine the rich and seemingly eternal
deposits of dolovite are damned. Marshal Spakro has made a call for deputies to help police the miners but
his rival Boss Mrodin warns that ghosts respect no laws.

Julb
65–66 Population: 1,000 (more than 100,000 during races) Rarity: +6
A partially erected pod racing track fills the trenched surface of this low gravity moon. While there is little
place for spectators to watch, illegal racing of all sorts is done in these canals and canyons. The pilots who
have survived and thrived here hail the track’s challenging course. Fans and bettors of all sorts seem to
agree. Entry fees in these circuits are a fast vehicle and nerves of steel but the prize purses run into the
hundreds of thousands if a racer can beat the spread.

Ubanreez
67–68 Population: 6,000,000 Rarity: +3
Ubanreez was the first moon of Qoribu discovered by Killik astronomers. Its existence was important in
early exploration of this region and the Gyuel system. It is currently a quietly successful planetoid with
strong cultural ties to the Chiss. It has a long history of occupation by military forces, though currently, the
only military is the Ubanrist Security Force that patrols the space station facilities of the moon. Port fees are
expensive and the Ubanrist tariff policies are in opposition to standard mooner beliefs but the success of
Ubanreez among outsiders is undeniable.

Renspall
69–70 Population: 6,500,00 Rarity: +4
Centuries ago, this Chiss penal colony was dedicated to the sometimes cruel rehabilitation of criminals and
social outcasts. Now it is home to a community of Chiss and other species that welcome all into their midst,
asking only that those that come to Renspall respect their ways and keep trouble at a distance. The
Renspalli mooners are very dedicated to their independence but trade honestly with outsiders. Cultural
ministers inspect all cargo and restrict any items that they consider to be adverse to the construction of an
ideal colony. Black market items are at a premium that only the most wealthy on Renspall can afford.
THE 55 MOONS OF QORIBU 8 OF 11

Darsoon
71–72 Population: under 1,000 Rarity: +6; +2 starship/vehicle mods
Sharai Alby is a Duros astronaut who settled here thirty years ago when her ship broke down in orbit around
Qoribu. She settled on the moon Darsoon and set up shop repairing broke down vessels in what has
become the system-renowned Alby Drydock. She has only subsisted since that time, though a few lucky
trades have allowed her to fashion a top notch repair facility with some pressurized bays that are unique to
the system. While she has fought for her little business, part of her still yearns to leap out into the stars and
find what she can.

Drafflon
73–74 Population: 800,000 Rarity: +6; +0 recreational drugs
On Drafflon, large swatches of cultivated land stretch across the horizon broken for small cities and room
for ships to port on low rise plateaus. Trading posts abound near the plateaus and much of the trade and
agriculture is in illicit drugs. With no system-wide government, Drafflon produces their products in
factory-styled laboratories, producing pill, smoke-stick, or snuff powder verities of common drugs. The
repeated expensive failures of artificial glitterstim spice has convinced most producers to abandon their
projects. Some mooners have imposed tariffs on trade with Drafflon and others will not extend landing
privileges to ships that have recently ported at Drafflon.

Ulbaro
75–76 Population: under 10,000 Rarity: +6
This rocky moon is covered in frigid, arid terrain. Frost wedging has made the mountain ranges brittle and
the bitter cold has made habitation difficult. Though isolated, Ulbaro welcomes outsiders, especially those
with ships as settlers are always looking to leave, unable to imagine why they ever came here much less
how anyone else would. But harnessing the environment and carving out an existence as a miner or
moisture farmer makes the weak economy go round, offering enough to attract those that like the wide open
spaces and privacy to be found on Ulbaro.

Wiekz
77–78 Population: 3,000,000 Rarity: +6
This moon is a robust mining world. The miners are employed year round in the relative safety of surface
mining with droid-operated equipment that, though prone to breakdown, allows the miners to stay clear of
danger. Trade with other mooners is light as the expensive ores removed from this planetoid are sold for a
better price on the galactic markets but the Guynel Mining Collective oversees the exports from Wiekz that
leave the Guynel system, assuring that too many resources are not leaving the system.

Begremmetron
79–80 Population: 500,000 Rarity: +3; +0 starship mods, repairs, re-fabrication
Placed on an n icy moon full of toxic gases, the surface settlements are very careful about air purification.
Some mining takes place but this is mostly a hideout for smugglers, ship repairs, and criminals. The port
here is run by Dabra Zinn, a middle-aged Corellian woman who takes care of her customers’ needs.
Anything from a crew of workers from the pool of ne’er-do-wells that hang around her pre-fabbed hotel/bar
The Starlight Lady to outlaw mods custom fit to any ship, Zinn has it all or can machine it to spec if she
doesn’t. Her prices are fair but always safely in her favor. She is not in the business of giving it away, she
says suggestively.
THE 55 MOONS OF QORIBU 9 OF 11

Norga
81–82 Population: under 100 Rarity: +6
The milky seas of Norga are sailed by primitive vessels that collect the sludge worms that sustain the
populace and that have become a delicacy to mooners across the system. The worm-fishers work in humid,
filthy circumstances to catch their prey. The intensity of their labors mean that most careers cannot be
sustained much longer than a decade before making way for younger, more fit fishers.

Nixtine
83–84 Population: under 100 Rarity: +6
Nixtine is a small planet, captured by Qoribu in eons past. It is a volcanic moon, with caustic air and searing
temperatures. Caught between the gravity of other moons and Qoribu, the moon is a turbulent hell. Mining
the rich mineral wealth or harnessing the intense energy released from the gravitic torquing is a dangerous
prospect but many have attempted it over the years since its discovery. Most have discovered that it is work
best left to droids with plenty of ray shielding and a broad maintenance contract.

Fro-Yai
85–86 Population: under 100 Rarity: +6
Fro-Yai—This small moon rents short range, two person (sitting back-to-back) ships for touring the system.
Krepp, the flabby, yellow, tentacled being who ambles on a crude mechno-chair rents out the moon-hop-
pers. Krepp requires something valuable as a deposit and the equivalent of 100 wupiupi for rental. The
moon-hoppers are vapor in a fight but they have a good range and safety record. Their near continual use
makes repairs difficult. Krepp is always looking for work for hire mechanics or to get its hands on a droid
that it can force into constant labor. Fro-Yai is always concerned with the bottom line of his business but
never at the expense of his customers’ safety.

Gather
87–88 Population: under 100 Rarity: +6; +2 scientific research equipment
Archaeological evidence points to this moon as an important location for the rituals of many cultures.
Certainly remnants of the Killik lie in layers of silt, disputed evidence points to the presence of Rakata as
well. Most fearsome to the more superstitious mooners is recent evidence of the presence of the Sorcerers
of Rhand, an extinct but often mentioned bogeyman among the mooners who pay too much attention to
legends. The research stations dedicated to preserving the history of this system have been accused of
playing on these superstitious beliefs to gain more research funding.

Nuroon
89–90 Population: under 100 Rarity: +4; +3 waterborne craft; -1 re-breathers
Images of the beautiful sapphire glow of the under-oceans of Nuroon have made it all the way to the Core,
though the images are enough for most. This distant moon keeps the secrets of its oceans buried beneath
earth and ice. But the illumination of these oceans comes from a robust, phosphorescent fungus that lines
the oceanic beds top to bottom. The abundant sea life on Nuroon is varied and beautiful, showing a
complexity that the few scientists who have studied it believe must indicate seeding efforts from several
advanced cultures.
THE 55 MOONS OF QORIBU 10 OF 11

Koxtul
91 Population: under 100 Rarity: +3; +0 ships, ship repair parts (U-wrench-it)
Though the headquarters of Babba-Ro-Babba-Yig’s Orbital Scrapyard is on Koxtul, the lightly managed
scrapyard stretches half way to Qoribu. Babba-Ro-Babba-Yig is a competitor with Feebik and the two have
often traded to complete ships in their respective scrap yards. But whereas Feebik works for himself and is
as honest a trader as he can be, Babba-Ro-Babba-Yig is widely known as a patsy for Ginny and will screw
over a customer any time he thinks he has an advantage. On the other pseudopod, his selection of nearly
operational hulks is fabulous.

Apsol
92 Population: under 100 Rarity: +6
The industrial accidents that plagued Apsol in times past must have been horrendous. The chemically
tainted atmosphere and surface of the moon testify to an industrial holocaust that left little evidence of the
culture that endured it. Attempts to make Apsol inhabitable once more are underway. These efforts are
overseen from orbital habitats and the wastes on the planet are removed by droids and converted into inert
materials or disposed of in the high pressure mists of Qoribu or the intense heat of Nixtine. Clean up
estimates currently range to around thirty years.

Gilliev
93 Population: 11,000,000 Rarity: +3
This large moon holds many ancient sites. Large structures from ancient civilizations lie in ruin mere kilome-
ters from new settlements and cities. The southern hemisphere of Gilliev is where the main city and
star-port lie. The world is temperate with large wilderness areas in the northern hemisphere and equatorial
mountains that are reputed to hold more artifacts of lost civilizations. The archaeologist who study here are
often frustrated by the encroachment of others on these sites but the majority of mooners on Gilliev believe
that the needs of the living must come first.

Meegrutt
94 Population: 9,000,000 Rarity: +6
This shiny moon contains a vast subterranean habitable area. It is excellently managed by Chiss expatri-
ates and welcomes visitors for purposes of trade and tourism—though there is not much to see. The
landing zones on the moon are deep, carved craters that pierce the shiny coat of the moon and allow ready
entrance into the tunnel systems. Areas of the tunnel systems are off limits to visitors but little intrigue
upsets the tranquility in the small shops and restaurants on Meegrutt. Though there are several, separate
landing zones, the tunnel system connects into a single, moon-wide system.

Oksgar
95 Population: under 10,000 Rarity: +6
Oksgar holds vast swatches of unused farmland. While the moon is capable of producing foods, the trading
cycles of the system have left it financially unviable. A small population resides here, bickering over territory
and resources. Visitors to this world are rare and the technology here is regressing below the galactic
standards. Small cities fight with other backward tribes over rocks with non-powered sticks and swords as
weapons. Outsiders are rare and, depending on the culture that they happen across, are greeted as evil
intruders or powerful wizards.
THE 55 MOONS OF QORIBU 11 OF 11

Oorn
96 Population: under 100 Rarity: +6
Oorn is a tiny moon, far from Qoribu. It is tidally locked to its parent and is known unofficially — though a
claim has been filed under the Chiss Ascendancy Exploration and Development Bureau — as The Zyke
Principality. Frommahd Zyke, a reclusive engineer and noted slicer is reputed to reside here in a heavily
fortified, secure bunker. Scans of the out of the way moon show an immense complex of high tech
structures and communications arrays. Contracts for cargo deliveries are short term, frequently negotiated
only hours before launch time. The few captains who have delivered here are silenced by a nondisclosure
clause in their contract.

Polpi
97 Population: under 100 Rarity: +6
This moon is a sanctuary for political dissidents and conscientious objectors from across the galaxy. The
inhabitants’ identities are kept secret. Twice the Chiss Ascendancy has enforced the right of the beings on
this moon to remain on this moon, leading to speculation that this is also an exile colony for undesirables.
But the protection of this world is only to the point of its thin atmosphere. Should a being leave Polpi, they
would be subject to the legal or political system they sought to flee. Polpi is always desperate for trade. The
denizens are used to a higher class of living than they can afford or expect in this branch of the galaxy but
they are rich in promises of payment at a later date.

Cadron
98 Population: under 100 Rarity: +6
The Radiance of Cadron was a poem written by the ancient Chiss bard Vitrion. When this moon was first
viewed from orbit, the captain of the discovering vessel proclaimed it Cadron. The luminescent appearance
of Cadron’s atmosphere proved to be from the harsh airborne metals that filled its atmosphere, dredged up
from the shiny surface by violent storms that swirl about the moon incessantly. The retrieval of the rich
resources of this planet have made many a wealthy citizen, though most of that wealth continues to leave
the system.

Voorsk
99 Population: under 100 Rarity: +6; landing is not permitted
This is a harsh moon with several unaffiliated habitat domes. The surface is always bustling with the activity
of ships landing and taking off but most beings never get close enough to Voorsk to say what is going on
one way or another. A recent dogfight near Voorsk has created a lot rumors about the settlement but nothing
but the shrapnel floating above this rock knows what all the hubbub is about. An organization claiming to
represent the planet’s interests refuses landing permits to all but a select few vessels.

Sanzagreep
