Menu Plan for 3-5-year old’s based on a 1200 calorie food intake.
Breakfast Cereal: 1 cup of cheerios cereal with ½ cup of strawberries. Add ½ cup of
1 ounce grain low fat or fat free milk.
½ cup fruit
½ cup dairy
Snack 1 ½ of an apple or orange and a low-fat cheese stick. Water to drink.

Lunch Beef Tacos: with 1 tortilla shell, 1 ounce of beef, and ½ or less of low-fat
1 ounce grain shredded cheese. On the side have ¼ cup of tomatoes and ¼ cup of
½ cup vegetables lettuce for child to add to the taco. Water to drink.

Snack 2 ½ cup of applesauce and ½ cup of veggie sticks. Water to drink.
