Greetings of peace!

One highly important activity related to Science, Technology and Engineering (STE) Curriculum is the
conduct of science investigatory project (SIP) which is a form of research. Research has been equated to
development in recent years. Such privileged activities for the STE classes are needed to develop
scientific literacy in our students which is deemed to be essential towards the development of our
country. Thus, SIP is a necessary requirement for STE students under the course subjects Research I and
II.

In line with this, a simple Oral Defense (for Grade 10) will be conducted today, March 13, 2017, 1:00
p.m., at the Science Laboratory. The undersigned humbly asks permission from your good office to
excuse the Grade 10 students and some Grade 8 and 7 students from their classes today. Further, the
following are requested to be members of the Panel of Reactors for the said event:
1. Lorrane V. Salazar
2. Kristal Mae P. Cadavis
3. Mark Paul E. Rosel

Moreover, the undersign formally invites the Science faculty, the Head Teacher for Science, the STE
Coordinator and your person to attend the said event.
