1. (15 points) In your own words, describe what user experience (UX) is. Look information in the
Web and add the references you used to answer the question below:
a. User experience definition:

User interface (UX) design is the process of creating products that provide the user with a pleasant
experience. With this in mind is important to consider all aspects with which the end user will have
to interact, such as design, usability, and function.

In the best cases, UX design improves the quality of the user’s interaction with and perceptions of
the product and any related services even before the device is even in the user’s hands.

User experience begins before the product is deliver to the costumers, this because of UX covers a
whole set of activities that happens between product’s strategy and product development.

For this is important to understand the user, know they needs, what they want, abilities and limitations,
in order to achieve this goal, is important the use of technology, because it becomes a guide through
which the final product can be brought to the user.

It is also important to have a vision, objectives and strategies for the product.

The user experience is becoming an important part of the product strategy in order to understand the
Experience we want to deliver to the user.

 Surface: A whole site that contains elements with which the user can interact. It can be
images, text.
