Wonders of the World

1) The seven wonders of the ancient world is a group of truly expressive structures built between
about 2600 and 200 BC. Can you match the names of these seven wonders with their
descriptions?

A group of three pyramids, Khufu, Khafra,


and Menkaura, outside modern Cairo, is
often called the first wonder of the worl.
The largest Pyramid had an original
estimated height of 482 ft (now
approximately 450 ft). Estimated date of
completion is 2680 B.C. Of all the Ancient
Wonders, the pyramids alone survive.

Often listed as the second wonder, these
