Analysis

With the data given, we can say that with the case of printing department of the Gazette, if to use the
tolerances having a probability value of 0.0731 as its Upper limit and 0.069 for the Lower Limit, based on the team’s
observation, 7 samples fall outside the probability limit of the tolerance of the paragraph errors.

The solution that the newspaper team can apply is that either they adjust the tolerances for the errors to be
able for all the values to fall inside it or make or conduct a research on how to properly lessen the paragraphs with
errors in a very professional way or hire an editor or another person to check the errors in the paragraph. Or also to
develop a procedure aside from monitoring, a procedure or a process, ask for some advice and help to those who are
knowledgeable in the process making or improvement of process to be able to double check each paragraphs without
consuming more time.

In this case we could just adjust the tolerance, in order to save time and cost regarding in conducting a research
that will cost time and money and with hiring another person that wouldn’t surely give a 100% zero error. This is the
best way for the team as of now, adjusting the tolerance has its own advantage and disadvantages; repercussions after
adjusting the tolerance if there will be, that’s another case study to analyse.
