8 Describe how you will adapt your lesson for the following learners:

Instruction
to do 4 sentences.
● Special Needs: Students will be able to work alongside the teacher, and they will perform this
whichever best fits them. It could either be less sentences or even be done verbally.
9 Describe at least TWO different types of formal or informal assessments you will use during your
Assessments lesson to check for student learning:
I will assess my students both informally and formally for this activity.. This step is very
important because as teachers we want our students to see where students are having
the most trouble.I will also monitor to make sure that they develop great creativity. I want
them to be able to think things on their own, and create their own opinions on the book
they have read. To make sure that it is actually happening I will be observing and taking
notes. I will also be doing formal assessment by scoring their final paper.
10 Prior Knowledge, Context, and Motivation (How will you connect the beginning of the lesson to
Lesson Delivery what students already know and/or motivate them to learn about the topic?)
Students will be motivated by being able to go to the library and pick out their own book. This
will motivate students because it will be a class field trip to the library where students will be able
to pick out something of their liking, and they will also be able to share to their reader what they
most liked.
Teacher will take students to the library Students will pick out a library book based on
their reading level, and own liking.
Teacher will give directions to students about
their assignment Students will develop an opinion on their book
and turn it in to the teacher
Students will re-write paper
Teacher will check students papers for errors.
Teacher will give students instruction over final
paper Students will draw their favorite part from the
book they draw it on their final draft
