A. Academic
The Xavier University Academic Scholarship is
awarded to incoming Grade 11 (SHS) Senior High
School students, who are bonafide citizen of the
Philippines. It is based on the result of XU
Scholarship Exam (CSAT). This scholarship grant
is categorized into:
1) XUHS President’s Scholarship
Grant (TOP 10 of CSAT)
Coverage: FULL Tuition, Matriculation,
Other fees with 5K allowance
ADMISSIONS AND AID OFFICE For Textbook and uniforms
2) XUHS Merit Scholarship Grant
(TOP 1%)
Coverage: FULL Tuition, Matriculation
and Other fees
3) XUHS Academic Scholarship Grant
(TOP 9%)

Step 1. Pre-Registration online admission /
Scholarship application thru XU website
Step 2. Take the required XU Scholarship
Entrance Examination/CSAT (If CSAT was not
taken at XU please bring the original and one
photocopy of CSAT result at UTC for uploading).
FOR INCOMING (Schedule for Entrance Exams: Every
Saturday of January)
SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL a. Result of the XU Entrance Exam will be
released 2nd week of February through XU
Website using the password given to each
examinee.
b. Receive notice via Email of Scholarship
Award
c. Submit downloaded attached Confirmation
slip on or before 1st week of March 2018 for
contract signing
Step 3. Proceed to enrolment process
(Must take and pass the XU Entrance Exam)

Half Tuition and Half Matriculation (for Top 2)

needs to submit the following documents:
b. Letter of Application addressed to the
Director, Office of Scholarships and Financial
Aid, Xavier University, Cagayan de Oro City.
c. Two Filled up Recommendation form one
from the HS Principal and Class
Adviser/Guidance Counselor
(Downloadable online)
d. Certification from the High School Principal
stating that the applicant is the Junior High School
Top 1/Top2 with a total number of 50 Junior
High School Completers.
Step 3. Proceed to enrolment process
C. Archbishop James TG Hayes SJ
Scholarships
The Archbishop Hayes SJ Scholarships for
XUSHS provide quality Ateneo education to
deserving students from public and private
high schools. It is a scholarship offered to
qualified incoming Senior High School
students with a General Scholastic Aptitude
(GSA) Score of at least 86% in the XU
Entrance or CSAT exams and
PhP 500,000.00 as evidenced by a certified true
copy of the latest annual Income Tax Return or
where not applicable, a statement from BIR of tax
exemption with attached affidavit of sources of
income.
Coverage:
Equivalent to Php 40,000.00 to cover portion of
the school fees plus voucher from DepEd

Hayes SJ Scholarships
Step 1. Pre-Registration online admission /
Scholarship application thru XU website
Step 2. Take the required XU Qualifying
Entrance Examination/CSAT
(Schedule for Entrance Exams: Every

a. Qualified applicant for Archbishop James
TG Hayes SJ scholarship needs to submit the
following documents:
b. Two Filled up Recommendation form one
from the HS Principal and Class
Adviser/Guidance Counselor
(Downloadable online)
c. Certification from the Junior School
Principal stating that the applicant is the top 10%
Junior High School with a total number of 50
completers.
