1. OBJECT
The object of this document is to define the agreed technical requirements for the purchase
of API-610 Centrifugal Pumps for the EPC project “Proyecto de Modernización Refinería
Talara Unidades Auxiliares y Trabajos Complementarios (also identified as UA&TC)”
executed by CONTRACTOR.
2. SCOPE
This requisition outlines the scope of supply, applicable technical specifications,
RUHRPUMPEN required documentation and the minimum scope for inspection and tests.
3. DEFINITIONS
• PROJECT: Proyecto de Modernización Refinería Talara Unidades Auxiliares y Trabajos
Complementarios (also identified as UA&TC).
• EMPLOYER: Means:
a) The person named as EMPLOYER in the Contract;
b) The legal successors and legitimate assignees of the EMPLOYER in the Contract;
c) Any person who becomes a part to the present in substitution or together with the
employer and the legal successors and legitimate assignees of that person in the
Contract.
For practical purposes PETROLEOS DEL PERÚ - PETROPERÚ S.A. (also identified as "PP")
• EMPLOYER'S REPRESENTATIVE (PMC): Refer PMC to the person designated by the
EMPLOYER in the Contract or designated periodically by the EMPLOYER according to
Sub-Clause 3.1 [Representative of the EMPLOYER] to act on behalf of the EMPLOYER.
• CONTRACTOR: Means the person or persons designated as CONTRACTORS in the
Contract and includes his rightful assignees.
For practical purposes, that designated by PETROPERÚ as the contractor of the Contract
for the Execution of the TALARA Refinery Modernization Project / Auxiliary Units and
Complementary Works, CONSORCIO COBRA SCL UA & TC (also identified as COBRA SCL)
or any of its affiliates, representatives authorized or successors.
• LICENSOR OF PROCESS: Haldor Topsoe.
• FEED DESIGN: Refers to the engineering design of the fundamental part, carried out by
Técnicas Reunidas under the FEED EPC Contract.
• EPC: (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) Detailed Engineering Phase,
Acquisitions and Construction (includes the activities of Pre-Commissioning / Testing,
Commissioning, Commissioning and Warranty Testing)

• GENERAL JOB SPECIFICATIONS (MJS: Master Job Specifications) It refers to the

document that is attached as Annex 2 to the Contract considering any addendum and
modifications made to said document according to the Contract.
• VENDOR: RUHRPUMPEN.
• SUBCONTRACTOR: Means: (i) any person named in the Contract as subcontractor, (ii)
any person named as a subcontractor either directly by the CONTRACTOR or at a lower
level (including any subcontractor or supplier of Materials) for a part of the Works, and
(iii) the legal successors of any of the foregoing.
4. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTATION
To guarantee a complete supply, the Requisition shall be revised with all the applicable
documentation listed in the table below.

7. PART III - INSPECTION AND TEST PLAN
Equipment/Material CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS

NOTES:
1. Objective
The objective of this document is to define for each type of equipment or material the vendor's contractual scope
and contractor's inspector involvement on each manufacture and testing stage. This document provides a
guidance to review vendor's Quality Control Plan (QCP) and represent minimum requirements. It will in no way
cancel or supersede vendor's QCP.
2. Conventions and definitions
Inspector involvement on each manufacture and testing activity is defined by the characters H, W, M y R as
follows:
H (Hold):
Inspector presence is mandatory. Vendor may not proceed unless authorized in writing. Vendor must notify to
Inspection's Coordinator and Project Manager that date of testing activities at least fifteen (15) days in advance.
W ("Witness"):
Vendor may proceed with the activity at the planned date if Inspector is not in attendance. Inspector
authorization to proceed is not necessary. Vendor must notify to Inspection's Coordinator and Project Manager
that date of testing activities at least fifteen (15) days in advance. Vendor will make available to Inspector all
testing and calibration records related to the activity for review and endorsement.
M ("Monitor"):
Inspector may witness inspection activities at his own convenience. Vendor may proceed with activities if
inspector is not in attendance. No notification about date of testing activities is required. Vendor will make
available to Inspector all testing and calibration records related to the activity for review and endorsement.
R ("Review"):
Inspector attendance is not necessary. No notification about date of testing activities is required. Vendor shall
proceed according to inspection activities schedule. Vendor will make available to Inspector all testing and
calibration records related to the activity for review and endorsement.
3. Inspection levels
The inspection levels are as follows: 1. With highest exigency; 2. With high exigency; 3. With normal exigency; 4.
With medium exigency; 5. With low exigency.
For equipment with inspection levels 1, 2 and 3, the Vendor’s Fabrication and Quality Control Plan must be
submitted to Client (or Client representative) for comments before the pre-inspection meeting is held.
4. Inspection release certificate (IRC)
Is a document issued by the Inspector. It allows vendor to proceed with packaging for shipping. Inspection
Release Certificate can be issued after all Technical Queries (TQ) and Non Conformities (NC) have been closed
and approved. IRC can contain an Outstanding Work List OWL (minor points that may require vendor presence
on site to close them).
Vendor shall prepare and issue Quality Control Manufacturing Dossier (QCMD) according to project instruction
before Inspector can issue Inspection Release Certificate.
