1 Introduction

1.1 Scope

This Operational Instruction describes the procedure to restore all Adjunct Processor
(AP) data disks that are corrupt or not accessible. An operator must be on site to do
these steps.

Note:
WARNING! AP, System Data Disk Restore is an extreme procedure that leads
to complete loss of all the data stored on all the data disks, including any
charging data!

2 Procedure

2.1 Prerequisites

2.1.1 Conditions

The following conditions must apply before this procedure can be completed:
 This Operational Instruction is referenced from Operational Instruction AP,
System Disaster Recovery
 The Operating System on both nodes are up and running but the cluster
service is unable to start.
 A data disk info backup file (.ddi) is available.
 A technician is available on site.

2.1.2 Data

No data is necessary for this procedure.

2.1.3 Special Aids

 A VGA monitor.
 A keyboard with PS/2 connector.
 A mouse with PS/2 connector.

2.2 Actions

Connect the keyboard and monitor

loss of all the data stored on all the data disks, including any charging data!
2.

Warning!

During this procedure, both nodes will be down and the AP will be
unavailable, offering no service!
