Worked as Quality Control Inspector in Gamma Weld Inspection Services, Hyderabad
from 10thJanuary 2016 to 20thApril 2018.

Job Responsibilities:
➢ Check drawing specifications.

➢ Preparation of inspection reports such as daily welding reports and related

documents.

➢ Check material and consumable certification.

➢ Daily surveillance of daily welding and welding consumables.

➢ Conduct inspection of all material being used for welding activities.

➢ Prepare and submit quality report.

➢ Conducting and coordinating NDT on weld joints.

➢ Witnessing welder qualification test and hydro test.

➢ Fit up inspections for root gap, root face, miss alignment and other surface
discontinuities.

➢ Final Visual inspection after completion of weld and marking welder number and
weld identification number as per built drawing.

Academic Project:
EVALUATION OF MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF HYBRID SURFACE
COMPOSITES FABRICATED THROUGH FRICTION STIR PROCESSING.

➢ In this project an attempt is made to fabricate the Aluminum based surface Metal
Matrix Composites.

➢ AA7075 is taken as the matrix material and the MWCNT and SiC were taken as
reinforcements to fabricate the Al based Hybrid Metal Matrix Surface Composites.

➢ Friction Stir Processing has been adopted to fabricate the Surface MMCs.

➢ Subsequently, the tensile tests were carried out so as to evaluate elastic (stress-
strain) behaviour.

➢ Finally the hardness tests and SEM images was carried out on fractured and
sub-fractured surfaces of tensile tested specimen to analyze them.

Technical Skills:

ASNT level II certificate in RT(Radiographic Test), UT( Ultrasonic Test), MT(Magnetic

Particle Testing), PT(Penetrate Test), VT(Visual Test).

Familiar with Solid works, AutoCAD 2D&3D, ANSYS.

Achievements:
➢ Presentation on “Friction Stir Processing” in the technical meet held at college
in 2014.

➢ As a volunteer chairperson, organized college’s top technical fest “Spark” for

two consecutive years i.e. 2014 and 2015.

➢ Achieved excellent grade in final year project.

➢ Achieved an excellent grade on submission of report about my industrial visit

to Hindustan Machine Tools Limited.

➢ Achieved a certificate for tensile testing in my project.
